Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area with mild soap and water, apply skin cream. If irritation from contact persists, seek medical attention. Launder contaminated clothing including shoes prior to reuse. If light-headed or having difficulty breathing, expose individual to fresh air and/or oxygen. If breathing is difficult seek medical attention. If breathing stops, begin artificial respiration and seek immediate medical attention. Seek immediate medical attention. Only induce vomiting if directed to do so by medical personnel. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep victim s head below hips to prevent aspiration into lungs. If possible, do not leave victim unattended. Avoid spreading burning liquid with water used for cooling purposes. SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES IN CASE OF SPILL: Keep sources of ignition and hot metal surfaces isolated from spill. Persons involved in clean-up should wear personal protection equipment. Stop spill at source and prevent from spreading. Small amounts of spilled material may be absorbed with any standard absorbent. If run-off occurs, notify proper authorities as required. Place in chemical waste container and dispose of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE Store in a cool and dry location and away from open flames, heat, and sparks. Do not store at temperatures above 110 F (43 C) to avoid vapor pressure in closed containers. Store only in areas approved for Flammable Liquid. Keep work areas free of hot metal surfaces and other sources of ignition. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Repacking not recommended. Containers used for repackaging should be thoroughly tested for long-term product compatibility before use. Ground all equipment before pumping the product. Protect from static electrical sparks or other ignition sources. All new containers must exhibit product labels required for proper identification, safety, handling, and storage. Store away from strong oxidizers. Empty containers may contain product residue such as vapors continue to observe proper handling and storage precautions. SECTION 8: EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses with side shields, chemical goggles, or face shield are advised. Eye washes are recommended for work areas. SKIN PROTECTON: Wear chemical impervious gloves, clothing, and/or chemical resistant apron and shoes to prevent skin contact. Safety showers are recommended for work areas. Remove contaminated clothing and wash in hot water and soap prior to reuse. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Exposure levels should be kept below the PEL or TLV for this product. Local exhaust preferred. If exposure exceeds recommended levels, use of NIOSH-approved cartridge respirator or gas mask is advised. Engineering controls should be implemented if necessary to reduce exposure. ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Provide sufficient general and/or local exhaust (explosion-proof ventilation) to keep exposure below PEL or TLV.
