Captain: Mike White, New Zealand Crew Profile - VICKY March 2018, Basic French Having grown up within the maritime industry, Mike gained extensive experience within the New Zealand Coastguard before transferring his skills to the luxury yacht sector. In 2010 he started his yachting career as Deck / Engineer onboard a 26m private motor yacht and worked his way up to becoming captain on board motor yachts ranging from 24m 72m. Before joining VICKY as captain in February 2017, he had worked on board the 47m charter yacht M/Y BLUSH for two years. Mike has got a lot of nautical miles under his belt, having cruised the Mediterranean Sea, including Spain, France, Italy, Corsica, Sardinia, Malta, Croatia, Greece and Turkey as well as the Gulf of Aden, the Baltic Sea, UAE and New Zealand. The safety of the vessel, guests and the crew are of upmost importance to him, while never losing sight of the main aim which is to provide the best possible service and experience for his guests. Chef: Denis Cosentino, Italian Languages: Besides his mother tongue Italian, he also speaks English and French fluently and has a basic knowledge of the Spanish language Denis was born and raised in the coastal region of Liguria, North West Italy. Coming from a family of agricultural producers, he grew up running around vineyards and playing in olive groves. It is obvious then, where his passion for food originated from. To feed his curiosity and learn more, he felt the next step would be to start working in a restaurant. Denis worked as sous chef for seven years, amongst others in the Michelin starred Italian restaurant La Conchiglia in Arma di Taggia. He started his carreer as chef in the superyacht industry in 2003; and has worked, since then, on several charter yachts ranging from 32m 58m; amongst others on the charter yachts M/Y LEO FUN, M/Y SOUTHERN CROSS III, M/Y MAGIC DREAM & M/Y NAMELESS. Denis creates the most delicious Italian, Mediterranean and International dishes. He joined the crew on board VICKY in March 2015. In his free time Denis likes to take care of his family owned oil and wine production and to spend quality time with his family and friends back in Italy.

Chief Steward: Darren Burns, Australian Darren joined the crew on board VICKY in spring 2018. He began his career in hospitality and has travelled the world working in Hotels and restaurants. Darren has also worked as butler in private homes, ski chalets in the French Alps and villas in St Tropez, private jets and English country manors in the Cotswold s and Hampshire. His role comprised anything to do with the day to day running of the properties: be it provisioning, food & beverage service, managing the wait staff, valet service and acting as manager, butler chef, chauffeur, PA, party planner and dog walker, all in one person! While working for Qantas airways in Customer service Darren discovered the super yacht industry on holiday in Italy. For the past 10 years Darren worked as a chief steward and butler in this exciting and extravagant industry, amongst others on board the busy charter yachts M/Y BLUSH and M/Y SOLANDGE. Darren loves the fact that he spends his days arranging experiences designed to give others pleasure and aims to ensure an unforgettable luxury experience for all of his guests. In his spare time Darren likes travelling, cooking and reading; and is partial to any kind of sports. Furthermore, he enjoys live music and theatre performances.

Stewardess: Victoria Hudson, British Between 2011 and 2016 Victoria gained valuable experience as nanny, party organizer, hostess and concierge in the UK, Australia and France. Amongst others, she worked as a hostess for a London based hospitality agency and was assigned to serve elite clients at the Grand Prix and at Ascot. Victoria switched from the shore to the High Seas in 2013, when she was assigned as cruise director at Sydney based All Occasion Cruises, being responsible for arranging personalized packages for the guests and organizing the staff on deck and other service staff. She broadened her expertise as host for a Queensland based company which offered sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling tours. She briefly went back to a shore-based position and gained further 5* experience working as hostess/concierge in a luxury chalet in Morzine for the ski season 2015/2016, where she was responsible for keeping the chalet to an extremely high standard, organizing the guests activities and preparing the chalet for the guests return in the evenings. Between spring 2016 and 2018, Victoria took her first steps in the superyacht industry, working as stewardess on privately owned motor yachts, ranging from 33 43m. Victoria has an outgoing personality and her past working experiences have given her the ability to work well under pressure, and with a keen eye for detail to ensure her guests enjoy a 5* charter experience! She joined the crew on board M/Y VICKY in March 2018. Victoria Hudson particularly enjoys outdoor activities, such as skiing, swimming, wakeboarding, waterskiing and diving.

Chief Engineer: Bartosz Brzozowski, Polish Languages: Besides his mother tongue Polish, Bartosz also speaks English very well Bartosz comes on board with more than 12 years experience as a ship engineer. His past employments include positions as 2nd and 1st engineer on board vessels ranging from 50m 100m. Thanks to his professionalism and enthusiasm he is a great addition to the crew on board VICKY. He joined the yacht in October 2016. 2nd Engineer: Jordan Gibson, Scottish Jordan joined the crew on board VICKY in June 2017. Leading up to this job he sailed as 3 rd engineer on board 100m superyacht M/Y A for three months, and worked on board an Emergency Rescue & Response Vessel as 2 nd engineer from 2015-2017. Jordan is a reliable and enthusiastic person. Being a marine engineer is something he wants to be exceptionally good at and something he will always feel passionate about. In his spare time, he likes all kind of water sports, fishing, diving, boxing and golf.

Chief Officer: Joergen Steel, British Joergen comes on board with more than 10 years of experience in the yachting industry and knows exactly how to meet the high standards expected on board a superyacht. He gained his first valuable boat handling experience driving a variety of passenger vessels ranging from 7 32m on the River Thames & skippering his first yacht in 2008. In 2009 he joined as deckhand and second engineer on board the extensively used 56m Perini Navi RIELA, where he not only gained charter and sailing, but also some valuable racing experience. The following years saw him progress slowly through the ranks of the yachting industry from deckhand, bosun and as 2nd officer on the 68m Amels Aquarius and chief officer on motor yachts ranging from 52 74m, some of which were heavily used by the owners themselves. Over the past years Joergen gained extensive navigational experience, having sailed the Mediterranean, Indian ocean, Pacific Ocean, Baltic, Bahamas and the Caribbean. He joined the crew on board VICKY in January 2018.

Deckhand: Joel Hodgson, South African Joel has always had a passion for the ocean and outdoors, so he decided to pursue a career in the yachting industry. Growing up on a game farm in Northern South Africa he acquired and learnt many useful hands on skills and has a great passion for the outdoors and an active lifestyle. Prior to joining the yachting industry, Joel worked for seven years at an Emu Ranch Trust, where he was responsible for the electrical maintenance, vehicle repairs, the upkeep of the farm implements and machinery and general farm management. From May to October 2015 Joel worked as a sole deckhand on board 25m chase boat to 56m M/Y TAIBA, M/Y LITTLE TAIBA. Then, from September to December 2015 he held the position of deckhand onboard 40m Mangusta AL MIRQAB 3. Since February 2016, he is part of M/Y VICKY. He approaches tasks with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude and completes tasks in a timely and precise manner. Joel is a very outdoorsy person and likes all kind of water sports, running, hiking, fishing and motocross. Deckhand: Tyron Lucas, South African With his outgoing and social personality, Tyron is a valuable addition to the crew on board VICKY, which he joined in October 2016. Beforehand he learned the ropes of the yachting industry as day worker on board motor yachts ranging from 50-64m. He is committed to learning and strives to go above and beyond what is expected of him. Tyron is extremely passionate about the ocean having grown up spearfishing, fishing, surfing, and spending all his spare time out at sea or on the shore as a junior life guard. He is an active outdoors person and very passionate about Golf, soccer, snowboarding and generally any sort of sport.
