BROADMOOR COUNTRY CLUB 2016 GOLF OUTINGS VER82016
ABOUT BROADMOOR COUNTRY CLUB Nestled in the heart of Indianapolis lies one of the premier country clubs in the Midwest. Broadmoor Country Club was designed by world famous architect Donald Ross. Opened for play in 1922, Broadmoor has played host to many national events. The PGA Champions Tour paid an annual visit to the club from 1988-1993. The list of winners includes Hall of Fame Inductee s Gary Player and Raymond Floyd. In addition to these legends of the game, the club has also hosted several Men s and Women s US Open Qualifiers. Ross, the mastermind behind such gems as Pinehurst #2, Seminole, Oakland Hills, Inverness, and over 400 other wonderful courses, laid out a course that has been nationally recognized by Golfweek and Golf Digest magazines respectively. In 1999 the club engaged the services of Tom Doak to restore the course to Ross s original design. Doak, who is recognized as one of the top practitioners of course design, has brought many of the original features back into play. What others are saying about BROADMOOR COUNTRY CLUB I wanted to write and let you know how much I enjoyed playing in the outing this week and the pleasure it was to a guest at Broadmoor CC. I was treated wonderfully by all personnel at your club and really enjoyed the beautiful golf course. It was my first time to play the course and must say it was the most beautiful and very well-manicured and maintained course I have played in several years. The hospitality I experienced this week is one that I will not forget in a long time. - John Sullivan, McGowan Insurance Group, Inc. Once again, a big thank you to you and your team for a wonderful event. You and your team were extremely easy to work with to prepare for and execute the invitational. You responded quickly and positively to any and all of our last minute changes and requests which made doing business with you even that much more enjoyable. The course and club were both very nice and the service provided from your team and the catering department met our expectations. On behalf of SBC, please send my sincere thanks to your entire team and the catering staff. We look forward to working with you in the future. - Maureen Casey, SBC Mann Properties holds its annual charity golf outing at Broadmoor Country Club and I couldn't imagine a better group of people to work with. The staff is courteous, professional, goes above and beyond to accommodate our guests and to make my task of organizing an outing that hosts close to 140 people much easier. The course and the facilities are always immaculate, the food is fantastic, and everyone has a wonderful time. Several of our guests have told me that our outing at Broadmoor is one of, if not the best golf outing they've ever attended, and that is due in large part to the lovely people at Broadmoor Country Club. - Linda Hartmann, Mann Properties
