Located in the scenic landscape of Millcroft, one of north Burlington s most beautiful communities, the course offers 18 holes of some of the finest golf in the area. You'll encounter large ponds as well as various creeks winding through several holes. Millcroft Golf Club features meticulous greens and the best conditioning of any southern Ontario course open for public play. Our well appointment clubhouse includes a fully stocked pro shop including rental clubs, locker rooms with showers & a banquet room & outdoor patio overlooking our scenic 18th fairway. Enclosed is our tournament package with our menu options, rules and our rates. If you wish to book your tournament, please complete the five documents of confirmation as well as the Tournament Agreement (pages 5 through 10) and scan & email (to Natalie), mail or fax them to 905-332-5624. 2017 Shotgun Tournaments A shotgun tournament is when all golfers, a maximum of 144 people, tee-off on every single hole on the golf course. They will all begin at the same time with two foursomes on each hole. This enables golfers to finish their game around the same time & then everyone can enjoy dinner together afterwards. A cross-over tournament is when tee-times are scheduled on the front and back-nine of the golf course. This enables 2 foursomes to tee off at the same time and cross-over after 9-holes of play to enable the tournament to finish their golf round closer together as a group. Millcroft Golf Club 2017 Tournament Agreement Payment Full payment is due on the day of tournament prior to tee-off. The tournament coordinator must arrange one payment in full, as individual payments for tournaments with more than 40 golfers will not be accepted, no exceptions made. All groups with more than 40 golfers must pay a non-refundable deposit prior to their tournament date (please see amount required on contract) to secure/confirm your tournament function. This deposit is due immediately upon our receipt of your tournament agreement and contract. This deposit will be applied to an account in the name of the tournament and will be deducted from the total fee due on the day of your tournament. The remainder amount must be paid the day of your tournament, prior to tee-off. Deposits will be forfeited should your tournament be cancelled at any time. Confirmation of Numbers A final count for golf and meals must be confirmed 14 days prior to the tournament. The final number count for golfers can be adjusted within 10%, 48 hours before tee-time. The final count of meals stands firm at the given count 14 days prior to tournament. Dress Code Golfers at Millcroft are to wear proper attire. Blue Jeans, cut-offs, track pants or tank tops are not allowed. A player will be turned away if dress code is not followed. Soft spike shoes only please! Power Carts/course maintenance Any damage to power carts or any related item on the course e.g. garbage cans, rakes, etc. are the responsibility of the tournament organizer and will be billed accordingly. Outside Food and Beverage Any alcoholic beverage not purchased at Millcroft will be confiscated and the golfer may be asked to leave without refund. No tournament is to bring personal food, beverage, or thermal coolers of any kind unless they receive permission from the catering department/millcroft Catering. It is a breach against the Millcroft Catering liquor licence under the AGCO to allow any outside alcoholic beverages to be brought on to Millcroft Golf Club premises. Speed of Play Course marshals will be monitoring the speed of play of golfers to ensure a fun and enjoyable round of golf for everyone. This is of great importance for keeping all of our customers satisfied. The course marshals have the right to ask a slow group to speed up Page 9
or following slow play warnings will ask the group to pick up their golf balls and catch up to the group ahead. All tournaments over 30 golfers must play scramble format. Scramble format is played when all golfers hit their own golf ball. The group will then collectively decide which of all the golfers shots was most advantageous to their golf game, and then they will all proceed to this (1) agreed location and then each golfer will shoot their ball from this same location. And so on, until they have collectively sunk their ball into the hole. Rentals Each golfer must have their own set of clubs, rentals are available in the pro shop for a fee, please call ahead to reserve. Rules Regarding Adjacent Homes Golfers are solely responsible for any damage to houses caused by golf balls. Please respect the safety and privacy of our homeowners by shouting Fore when errant shots are in the direction of homes. Please do not Trespass, golf balls in backyards become the property of the homeowners Indemnity & Liability Release The undersigned agrees on behalf of all participants to hereby release from liability and to indemnify and hold harmless Millcroft Golf Club & Millcroft Catering, and any of its employees or agents representing or related to the Golf Club. This release is for any and all liability for personal injuries, property losses or damage occasioned by, or in connection with any activity for this event. The undersigned further agrees that they have read & agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement and will assure as the tournament organizer that all golfers & participants who attend this event, respect, follow and are fully aware of all of these rules.
