Conditions of Entry 1. The Chinchilla Campdraft Committee reserves the right to alter or amend the program in any way whatsoever. 2. All competitors must be current 2017/18 ACA members 3. The committee reserves the right to refuse entries without any reason. 4. Horses to be nominated in order in which horses are to be ridden. 5. Per ACA rule D5, Refunds applicable to late scratchings will be at the discretion of the Committee with each case to be treated on its merits. A $22 deposit per horse per draft is to be lodged with all entries. Such deposit is deductible from the nomination fee when the competitor pays their nomination fees. A 100% refund of the deposit shall be given if the competitor withdraws more than 7 da ys prior to 6am on the first morning of the program. This fee can be retained if the competitor does not withdraw in the allotted time frame. If a competitor withdraws within 72 hours prior to 6am on the first morning of the program, committees are entitled to keep the entire amount of the competitor s nomination fee, unless when extenuating circumstances apply. Scratching s must be advised by 72 hours before the commencement of the event or no refund unless a vet certificate is presented to the Secretary along with the scratching form attached to this program. 6. Changes to horse/rider must be done in writing at the secretary s office at least 1 hour before event begins. No changes will be ac cepted once the draft has commenced. Horse/Rider Change Form attached to this program and available at the secretary s office. No changes will be accepted during an event or at the announcer s office. 7. Full nomination fees refunded only if competitors or horses are injured and if approved by the Chief Steward. 8. Campdraft competitors must hold themselves ready to compete at the advertised starting time on the day of draft. Three calls will be made for competitors. If the competitor fails to appear nomination fees paid or due shall be forfeited to Chinchilla Campdraft Committee. 9. Any competitor who, in the opinion of the Chief Steward, deliberately mistreats or abuses stock will be disqualified from the event and also from participating in any further events on the program. 10. All competitors compete at own risk. 11. Time limit 40 seconds per round. 12. Nominations will be taken online through Campdraft Central (www.campdraftcentral.com.au). 13. Full nomination fees must be received by 5.00pm Monday 19 February 2018 via direct deposit or cheque. Competitors whose nomination fees are not received by this time, on this date, will have their nominations scratched from the draft by the committee. 14. All prize money listed is GST inclusive. 15. Refunds and prize money will be paid out by direct deposit following the event. To receive payment promptly competitors are requested to ensure their current banking details are provided on Campdraft Central. 16. All competitors must complete a horse health declaration form attached to this program, and hand to the Secretary s Office immediately upon arrival at the Chinchilla Show Grounds. 17. Per ACA rule B5 (e) Riders under the age of 18 must wear Helmets whilst mounted on a horse at all ACA affiliated events. Helmets must comply with current safety standards and must be securely fastened under the chin at all times. Riders under the age of 18 must wear skull caps in the main arena. 18. Competitors entering The Big Show Camp Horse Challenge compete as per the rules for The Big Show Camp Horse Challenge.
