Registration of an easement for the construction, servicing and maintenance of the training berm located within the road allowance at Wedge Park between White Glacier International Limited and the Resort Municipality of Whistler, 2. Environmental Monitoring for the duration of the development works, and 3. Receipt of a landscape security for 135 per cent of the cost of landscaping the sides of the training berm with native planting and hydro seeding; and further That Council grant an exemption in accordance with Section 524 of the Local Government Act Requirements in Relation to Flood Plain Areas, to permit construction of new buildings within the flood proofing area specified in Zoning and Parking Bylaw No. 303, 2015 at 8030 Alpine Way as shown in Site Plan A1.0A, prepared by Lamoureux Architect Inc., dated March 12, 2018 subject to the following conditions to the satisfaction of the General Manager of Resort Experience: 1. Registration of a Section 219 covenant for the exemption, indemnifying the Municipality and attaching the Flood Construction Level Report prepared by LaCas Consultants Incorporated, dated October 11, 2017, confirming that the proposed building designs and locations are safe for the intended use, 2. Registration of a Section 219 covenant for regular Environmental Monitoring during construction of the works proposed under DP1541 and SEC0018, and 3. Registration of a Section 219 covenant that restricts development of the lands to that proposed under SEC0018, and limits any further proposed development to a maximum of 200 square metres, which would be subject to future approval requirements.
