WHAT'S IN A NAME: The Cyclones will take the field as the Brooklyn Jefes for this series with the Tigers as part of MiLB's "Copa da la Diversion"...It marks the third name change this season (Brooklyn Bagels and Brooklyn Seinclones) and sixth time in franchise history that the Cyclones have taken the field with a different moniker joining the Baracklyn Cyclones, Coney Island Franks and Brooklyn Slices...Brooklyn has gone 5-1 so far in games with a name other than the Cyclones. LA COPA: The Cyclones will play as the Jefes for this three game series with the Connecticut Tigers as part of MiLB's Copa de la Diversion...The Copa consists of 33 teams across the country who are participating at every level from A through AAA...It is a season-long initiative specifically designed to embrace the culture and values that resonate most with the local Latino communities...the Cyclones are the only team in the New York-Penn League participating in "The Copa" for 2018.
