Dear Pearland Businesses, The City of Pearland, Parks & Recreation Department and Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to welcome athletes from across the state to the TAAF Winter Games of Texas 2018 & 2019. For the past 12 years the City of Frisco has worked with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federations, TAAF, to host their annual Winter Games. Athletes are expected to participate from all across Texas in a variety of Olympic style youth and adult events including basketball, gymnastics, softball, Pickleball, swimming and flag football. Chris Orlea, PhD, Director of Pearland Parks & Recreation stated The City of Pearland couldn t be more excited to host the Winter Games of Texas, and the premiere group of competing athletes. We hope through a time-tested and consistent model for this event, we can continue to build the TAAF legacy and tradition of strong athletic foundations within Pearland. As advocates for the City of Pearland and all our wonderful amenities the City has to offer, we are turning to the support of our local community to help continue building the TAAF legacy and traditions. Furthermore, the following sponsorship opportunities will encourage customer loyalty, highlight community engagement and provide visitors with priority access to connect with your organization. Follow the Flags Campaign This event gives us the opportunity to come together and showcase our city to TAAF Winter Games athletes, their families and event spectators through our Follow the Flags campaign. This sponsorship is designed to highlight community involvement and bring awareness to Pearland businesses through a unique marketing campaign. Flags will be strategically placed throughout Pearland at major thoroughfares including 518 (Broadway) & Shadow Creek Parkway. All flags will showcase the TAAF Winter Games of Texas logo and your company logo (see below). Sponsor investment: $250 per flag.
