All other fundraisers are optional to participate in. **Some of our fundraising is for general funds to help keep show costs down. Some fundraising is split between general funds and skaters. Review the Fundraising Sheet included in packet. Funny Money: Funny money is money earned through fundraising on individual basis. Ways to earn Funny Money are to work in our booths at Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena and Lincoln Park Days, working Bingo, selling fundraising items like Pizza kits and cookie dough and other fundraising items we sell. When Skate Company earns money participating in these events a portion goes to the general fund to help keep ice and show costs down and a portion goes to your Funny Money account that can be used to pay your Skate Company Skating Club Skaters expenses such as Ice Show Fees and Costumes, Holiday Show Fees, Learn to Skate Sessions, Show Shirts, Show Pictures and Banquet Tickets.
