It also serves as a lightweight alternative and no reel seat is required with this type of handle. Shrink Tubing can be used over cork tape at the reel attachment area and at the top of the handle. Shrink tubing, when exposed to heat, such as a heat gun or torch, shrinks to ½ its original size. This makes for a nice long lasting finish.
