MISSION To enable football and other activities for all ages and genders for the community of Corsham. VISION Corsham Town Football Club will have a solid foundation of committed people working for a common goal. We will be a community club, an organisation that can provide football for all adults in the Corsham and surrounding areas. Teams will include 1st, Reserves, U18 s, Ladies and A Teams. We will have strong links with AFC Corsham focused on creating a football pathway for the community. Our structure will be self-sustaining both on and off the pitch, with development and succession, embedded in the thinking of the club. Within 5 years Corsham Town will have a team playing in the Western League Premier Division, a Reserve team in the Wiltshire League, an U18 s team in the Somerset Floodlit League, a Ladies Team in the Wiltshire Ladies League and an A Team in the Trowbridge League. #yourclubyourcommunity
ABOUT US... The club was founded in 1884 and affiliated to the Football Association in 1893 making it ones of the oldest clubs in Wiltshire. Matches where originally played on what is now the cricket pitch opposite the Almshouses before moving to a field above the modern day recreation ground, then our present day ground at Southbank, Lacock Road. The club won promotion to the Western League in 1997 and its biggest achievement to date was winning the Premier League in 2007. The first team currently play in the Toolstation Western League Division One, the Reserves in the Corsham Print Wiltshire Senior League and the U18 s in the Somerset Floodlit League. Successfull on the field and professionally organised behind the scenes, we are rightly proud of our highly-regarded set-up and football achievements over the years. Our ambition to compete successfully at the highest levels of the amateur game is underpinned by a young and exciting squad, a talented and hard-working staff and the ceaseless efforts of our management committee through whose vision and dedicated service we are constantly striving to improve every aspect of the club s operations. While there is much that is both contemporary and progressive about our set-up, our fiercely competitive spirit on the pitch and the warm and friendly welcome extended to all in our ground are traditions which have been handed down from generation to generation through the best and worst of times since our earliest beginnings in 1893. Today, we are proud to carry on these traditions and long may they continue to be the things by which we are known. For a small town club we will continue to grow from strength to strength with help from advertisers and sponsors like you.
