This race is run under British Cycling s technical regulations and under standard highway conditions therefore you MUST abide by the rules of the road. You are not on closed roads and (static or moto) Direct riders around the course and warn other road users a race is taking place Marshals do not create road closures or make it safe to race on the right hand side of the road You are responsible for your own actions Race on the left hand side of the road do not cross solid white lines and always avoid crossing broken white lines If necessary the race will be stopped Look after each other, behave responsibly and safely Do not take unnecessary risks - your actions could have serious consequences About your position on the road Rider behaviour is critical to protecting the future of road racing We all have a part to play LOOK THINK COMMUNICATE

You will not be permitted to start unless you are wearing suitable head protection conforming to the standards accepted by British Cycling. 2. NO UNAUTHORISED FOLLOWING CARS WILL BE TOLERATED WHILST THE RACE IS ON. 3. First aid services will be provided. Any riders needing hospital treatment will be taken to West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St. Edmunds, IP33 2QZ (01284 713000). 4. Riders who are deemed to be out of contention and/or at least 5 minutes behind the bulk of the race may be pulled out at the discretion of the Commissaire. 5. Please obey all police and race marshals instructions where given. 6. There will be a neutral service vehicle for each race. However, NO WHEEL = NO SERVICE. 7. On the last lap all spectators and helpers vehicles must be parked away from the finish line. NO VEHICLES ARE TO BE PARKED ANYWHERE ON FINCH HILL BEFORE OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FINISH LINE. Parking is recommended on Smeetham Hall Lane ensuring room for farm traffic movements. Neutral Service supplied by The Cycle Clinic, Glemsford.
