HDH has accrued a total of $70 credit at Office Depot this year. ************************************************* Mandy Brinnand has this to report on her show season, thus far: Dante is a 2 year old paint gelding, his registered name is A Clasical Conclusion. The show before the last one was in Filer, Idaho and he did really well - out of 4 judges, he got 4 firsts in amateur halter geldings, 4 firsts in 2 year old halter geldings, 2 grands and 1 reserve grand. In grand and reserve they take the 1st and 2nd place geldings out of each age class (weanlings, yearlings, 2 year old, 3 year old and 4 + (aged)) and judge the horses against each other. They don't mix sexes in grand and reserves, geldings, mares and stallions each show separately. Dante is currently leading the State of Nevada (NPHC) in amateur halter geldings and 2 year old halter geldings for 2005. In 2004 he was high point in yearling halter geldings and amateur halter geldings in both Nevada Paint Horse Club (NPHC) and Nevada State Coordinating Committee (NSCC). Also in 2004 he earned his Register of Merit (ROM) in both amateur and open. A ROM is earned once 10 points are earned, points are earned depending on the number of horses in a class. In 2004 Dante was also on the National APHA top 20 list in 2 year old halter geldings. Congratulations, Mandy! Volume 1, Issue 8 Page 3
Moonlight Ride/Drive August 20, 2005 The Moonlight Ride/Drive on Saturday, August 20th was fun. After a delicious BBQ cooked by Mike Bailey, we headed out toward Misfit Flats. The moon did not cooperate and come out until we were ready to head home, but it was still easy to see out on the flats. It was another fun event. Page 4 HD Hoofprints
