In our fight against crime, CrimeStoppers Honolulu encourages the community to assist local law enforcement by providing anonymity and a CASH REWARD if the information leads to solving a crime. As of Febuary 2018, our program has locally solved 7,341 cases, resulted in 2,935 arrests, paid $371,856 in rewards, and recovered $6,541,618 in illegal drugs and stolen property. Operational funds and reward money paid to tipsters by the program are solely from donations and fundraisers, such as this major golf tournament. Other than the professional staff assigned by law enforcement agencies to coordinate with the program, no tax dollars are involved in operating CrimeStoppers.
