Specific scheduling requests will not be accepted. Once entry has been received there will only be partial refunds for dropping out of the tournament until June 1 st. General Rules: 1. All games will be (6) innings or 1 hr 15 minutes. No new inning will begin after 75 minutes. 2. A game will end if the time has expired and 1) home team takes the lead 2) home team is leading. If the home team reaches the required runs before the end of their at-bats, the game will end immediately. 3. Teams will be limited to 5 runs per inning except the last inning, which will be determined by the umpire. 4. Mercy rule will apply as follows: 15 run rule after 3 innings and 10 run rule after 4 innings. 5. All leagues will play a 4-3 count. 6. Pregame warm-ups will be taken in the outfield only. No warm-ups on the infield. 7. Two coaches are encouraged to base coach but any player acting as a base coach must wear a helmet. 8. Any player warming up a pitcher between innings must wear a mask. 9. All teams are required to wear protective helmets. Catchers are required to wear full equipment. Batting & Lineup: 1. You may bat your entire lineup. 2. You must have 8 players to start the game. The 9 th spot in the batting order will be considered an out if the team only has 8 players. 3. A team may designate a courtesy runner for catcher if they have more than 9 players and they are not batting everyone. If you are batting your whole lineup, then the courtesy runner must be the last out. 4. Bat Rules: Small or large barrel bats are allowed. Bats must have 1.15 BPF approved stamp or BBCOR certified mark. 5. Batter is out on dropped third strike. Runners may advance at their own risk. Base Running: 1. The runners must slide into the base on a close play or they will be out. 2. Infield fly rule is in effect. 3. Home is open in all levels. 4. Stealing is allowed when the ball crosses the plate. If the runner is caught leaving early they are out. 5. Runners cannot interfere with a fielder in the act of fielding nor may a fielder impede the advancement of a runner when not fielding. Pitching Rules: 1. One (1) pitch constitutes as one (1) inning pitched. 2. Pitchers are allowed 3 innings per game. 3. Five (5) warmup pitches are allowed between innings. 4. Coaches are allowed two (2) visits to the mound per inning. The pitcher must be replaced on second visit of the inning. 5. 9/10u bases 60 11U bases 70 12u bases 70
Awards: 1. 1 st 3 rd place awards will be given. 2. A team sportsmanship award will be given to the team in the tournament that shows high quality sportsmanship throughout the tournament. 3. The sportsmanship award will be judged by the umpires and site directors. Request & Information: 1. No protests are allowed. The plate umpire s judgement is the final decision. 2. Un-sportsmanship like conduct including but not limited to swearing, arguing, throwing equipment, etc. is not allowed and will result in ejection from the game or tournament upon the umpire s discretion. 3. Coaches are responsible for your players and fans behavior. 4. A coin toss will determine the home team and the home team is responsible for the official book. 5. All teams must have signed and completed the tournament waiver. The registration fee must be paid in full before they are allowed to participate in the tournament. 6. Dug outs will be determined on a first come first serve basis. 7. Please have your team clean out the dugout after each game. 8. Field managers will be available on site to answer questions and help with any needs. 9. Concessions will be available. No cooler is allowed on site. 10. In the event of severe weather, games will be delayed 30 minutes from the sight of lightning. Game times may be shortened depending on the severity of the weather. Site directors will make the official call. 11. Have fun and enjoy the tournament!
