The Biggest Four Day Event In Northern California! 2018 Marks the 21st year of the West Coast Monster Truck Nationals. This event holds the record for attendance (in excess of 25,000) of any event in Shasta County, selling out a minimum of two of the three days during the past 20 years. Week prior- Monster truck teams arrive in Tehama County and begin a week of scheduled monster truck displays at pre-determined sponsor locations. This helps drive traffic to these locations as well as bring event awareness. Event Day One On Thursday prior to the event, the Monster Madness Parade. Days Two through Four - West Coast Monster Truck Nationals at the Tehama County District Fairgrounds. Two hours prior to the event the gates open to a pre-event arena party. Drivers sign autographs and fans are able take photographs with the trucks. Beginning with the opening ceremonies, fans are treated to a three hour performance of Monster Trucks, Tuff Trucks and various specialty acts. The evening ends with the final round of monster truck racing and freestyle, resulting in the crowning of two champions for the evening.
