Bike Flip By Xavier S. We got out of the car. We took our bikes off the bike rack. I slipped on my helmet and started to ride my bike as fast as a bullet, around the parking lot. My mom and sister got on there bikes. Hurry up mom, I said We are coming Don't worry, she said My mom asked, Do you want to go left or right I said, Right. But of course my sister said, left. But my way goes. So we headed right. I sped up and got in front but of course my sister has more gears and bigger tires so she just zoomed in front of me so I just stayed close to my mom. We ride up until a turn I asked my mom, left or right at a turn. She said, left. I looked up ahead and saw it was leading to a foresty area. We got close to the trees and the shed snuck up on use and gave me the chills and and I could tell my sister and mom had them too. We headed into the dark forest. I caught up to my sister and asked, How do you go so fast she said, This is not going fast. I gave her a confused look and slowed down. I was even to my mom as we started going through a windy path that went left right left left right and then right. Q

I told her that This is so much fun. But before she could answer I raced up to my sister. Arent you having fun I said I m tired she ground exhaustively. Typical sydney move. I shot up head of her and saw I very sharp turn up ahead so I slowed down. I hit the turn and then it happened, the back of my bike suddenly lifted. I had no idea what was going on. I was then vertical to the ground and I was airborne. I tried to find my mom and sister but they were nowhere where my eyes could see them. When the side of my bike hit the ground my head and arm slammed down on the concret. I shut my eyes and thought of the time when I broke my leg I could still remember the pain. I wondered If it would be something like this would I break my head? I heard a squeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkk I forced one eye bake open. I saw my mom get of her bike and bend down on her knees and asked, Are you ok. Ya, I said. Are you bruised or did you break anything, she said. No not that I know of, I said. I got up and I was to tired and sore. We need to go home my mom says. We walked back to the car I thought to myself now I know what it feels like to be in so much pain. from now on if I see anyone in danger or hurt I will pray for them if i hear a cieran I will pray no matter who it is a persons life is priceless. I then learned that people care people care about each other more then you will ever imagine.

Snow Ramp by Xavier S. My friends were close behind. We all were struggling to get up the giant hill with our sleds. Some of our sleds slipped out of our hands and glided to the bottom. I was one of them. I ran down and ran as fast as I could in the snow, and Daniel came down to help me. We got our sleds. Daniel and I caught up to the rest of the group. We all got up to the top and sat down to take a long break. It will be worth it, I said as I got up. I helped up some of my friends and I took a few steps back, I got a running start to jump on my sled and glided to the bottom of the hill like a hovercraft. I didn't go that far but it was a thrill. I climbed up the hill again I took about 5 breaks because I was so tired. I got up and hopped in a sled and I asked ben Can you give me a push? Ya, he said. then I remembered, last year I crashed on this same hill with the same sled same spot. I hit a tough spot in the hill and flipped and i can't go through that again can't do the same thing again and then all ofa sudden I heard 1... 2... 3... I started gliding down the hill and then it happened I zig zagged through the snow and crashed. My friend went down the same path as I did but didn't crash, We should all go down the same path, I said. Ya,

most of my friends said in unison. We climbed back up the hill we all went one second after each other we all crashed into one big dog pile. Zack got up and said, We should build a ramp. Most of us said Ya. Then I saw Daniel bend over in snow But how can we build one with this snow. Daniel said. I shrugged my shoulders and said We can at least try. We sat down and started brainstorming for ideas. We could make a big snow ball and then fill in the snow to make it a ramp. No, Ammon said, and then all ofa sudden as if all of us had the same idea we shouted We should make a ditch and take the snow from that to make the ramp, and the ditch and the hill of snow we can make will give us some big air. So three of us went to the top and the rest of us stayed at the bottom. We started digging up snow like dogs dig up dirt to make the ramp. We all worked together and we all had a part. Then we took all the snow and made the ramp it keep falling down so someone hot to support it until it was strong enough. there was a clean curve from the bottom of the ditch to the top of the ramp. When we thought it was good we had someone test it out and after every test we added more snow. Eventually we got it so big that you got minimum of three feet. but of course there are errors in life. Ben crashed in the side of the

ramp and broke it. We all said We can make a new one. The ramp we are going to make now will be the same thing we will try to do every step the same. And then as if I had amnesia be built it almost the same way, and we all tested just to make sure it wouldn't break. We all went on it and we had so much fun me and Mason decided to go in this two person sled. that was black and bulky we got in and ben gave us a big push. we headed to the ramp we hit it i bumped out of the sled and face planted. Everyone wanted me and Mason to go again so we pulled the sled up the hill and jumped in ben gave us an even bigger push. We headed to the hil and 30 mp`h and we got air we landed, and everyone could agree that me and Mason got the most air. But me and Mason knew we couldn't have gotten that high without ben. After this I realized that having a birthday isnt about getting presents, its about spending time with family and friends.

The Course by Xavier S. We were walking to the start of the zip line course. I could feel the butterflies hitting the side of my stomach. My mom asked, Are you ready? Ya, I say, but I am really nervous. Me too, my sister chimed in. We came near to the first tower, and I looked up. The height of the building taunting me and saying you'll never last you wimpy kid. I walked toward the tower with caution. I step on the first step so dramatically as if it were about to collapse. Although they didn't, instead they would hold at least 4 people. So I was over that fear but the hight of it still tauted me. I started climbing to the top none of the steps collapsed I thought to myself as I got up. I could tell I was going to be last because I was the furthest away so I waited and talked to my mom about how nervous I was. she said, You just needed to not think about it. ok I thought to myself just think that I am only 2 feet off the ground. The space got less crammed as more people went. Then I remembered whistler MT. and I remembered how much fun I hade. Then I heard You're up, from the instructor. I stepped onto the step and reached on my

tippy toes for him to get my tether attached. He gave me a push and woosh. I felt the wind blowing in my face saying you did it yaaaa. I looked around I saw a nice blue sky and so much wild life. I saw the instructor raise his arms that was the signal to brake I instantly put my hand on line. I slowed down and realized too much I let go of the line but the line seemed to far to reach. I closed my eyes. Please don't stop please don't I thought to myself. Then I felt a jerk. I open my eyes with a sigh of relief. I made I the step was lower so he had to lift me up and unattach my tether. I took a glimpse at the other line that line was I black diamond compared to the other one. I was panicking in my mind, and to make it even worse there was 100 trees super close to the line. I thought to myself watch me get sliced in half by that tree branch. Then Garrett went, he zoomed acrossed and the tree was a mile away from him, but I still worried. I was up I thought of the odds of it hitting me because I was the smallest one there and no one else got hit by them. I started running and then I zoomed down the line. I looked at the tree branch taunting me I leaned to one side and completely missed it. I looked back and thought to myself not today but then as I turned my head forward, the instructor told me to brake. I thought to myself i'm going too fast so I pushed as hard as I could on the line and I made a perfect stop right on the step. He unhooked me and said, If you had fun on that one you'll have fun times four on this line.

This one is definitely the longest, Garrett said. I peaked in front of everyone and saw how long it was it was 100000000000000000 times 999999999 miles long, but I would have the most fun on this course thought. I was first. I swished across the line but then things slowed down as if I were in a slow motion movie. I saw every thing.
