Shooting training will be possible according to information during the event. 2
Accommodation Teams will be accommodated in Vienna House Diplomat Prague, Evropska 15, Praha 6, 160 00 Website: www.viennahouse.com/en/diplomat-prague/location.html The Accreditation Office and Technical meetings will be in Vienna House Diplomat Prague. IMPORTANT NOTICE: - The hotel requests a credit card for guarantee. - After 23 rd July 2018 24.00 (CET) no cancellation is permitted. After this deadline, the 100 % of the accreditation fee needs to be paid. Transport Transportation from the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague to the official hotel and the return journey is only guaranteed if flight information is provided in the registration system well in advance and prior to the deadline. Transportation from the official hotel to the venues will be provided according to the competition programme. Financial Conditions For delegations (athletes, coaches, officials, supporters) reserving the accommodation package, the prices are as follows: Registrations received PRIOR to 29 th June 2018 Single 130 per person per night Double 110 per person per night Registrations or any changes of rooms received AFTER to 29 th June 2018 Single 150 per person per night Double 120 per person per night Minimum stay for participants (athletes, coaches, official) is 3 nights (except athletes participating only in relay competition). Each price includes full board accommodation, local transportation from/to the event and shuttle from/to Vaclav Havel Airport Prague. Delegations wishing to arrange their own accommodation must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach, or official) to the LOC. The amount of the accreditation fee is set at 75 EUR per day per person with a minimum payment of 4 days (300 EUR). For this, we will provide lunch packets for the competition days and allow access to official transportation between the hotel and competition sites. 3
Based on the proforma invoice, which will be sent to each delegation after the closure or the registration, a non-refundable 30% deposit must be sent to the LOC by the 15 th July 2018. The remainder of the total cost may be paid in cash at the accreditation desk on arrival, but we recommend to pay by bank transfer in advance. All extra cost for bank transfer should be worn by the national federation. Ignoring that, the amount will be invoiced afterwards. As a reminder, if on arrival, the team has fewer athletes and/or officials than submitted in the registration system and without informing the Organising Nation/LOC at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will have to pay a fine to the Organising Nation/LOC of 200 for each person not attending. Deadlines Delegations are kindly reminded that the UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. The online system will be open from 5 th June 2018. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by 29 th June 2018. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser - wchprague@pentathlon.cz. Following closure of the registration system on the 29 th June 2018, a NF must enter the competition with at least one pentathlete/team per confirmed gender or Mix Relay. Any failure to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of 600 EUR to the UIPM. The early confirmation of your intention to participate or not would highly be appreciated and by submitting the information by email to wchprague@pentathlon.cz before 5 th June 2018. Deadlines are as follows: Participation Confirmation before 5 th June 2018 Closure of Registration 29 th June 2018 Deadline to send 30% deposit 15 th July 2018 If we do not receive complete information of your delegation prior to closure of the registration system or we do not receive your delegation s deposit payment, then we will consider your delegation as non-participating. 4
Athletes Licenses/ ability Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid Athletes License. Registration is not possible without a License Number. If an athlete does not have a license they will not be allowed to take part in the competition. You are kindly reminded of UIPM Rule 1.12.1 and its relevance to this competition is as follows: Pentathletes without riding ability listed in the database and without a letter/certificate from their NF confirming their ability to ride may compete at World Championships in the qualification for the Final, but if they qualify for the Final, must relinquish their place to the next placed pentathlete qualified rider from their group. Such Letter/certificate must be sent to up loaded on UIPM portal before registration and some video footage might be asked prior to the Championships. In addition, the athlete must show sufficient riding ability already in the warm up, otherwise he will not be allowed to compete in the riding phase. Insurance VISAS & Vacinations Laser Pistols According to UIPM Rules all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizer will not accept any responsibility financial or other, for any loss, injury or illness of any member of the delegation. Visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into the Czech Republic prior travelling to the event. The LOC cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but can provide specific letters of invitation if needed. For information if you need a visa or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate. Firearms Licenses are not a legal requirement when bringing air and CO 2 pistols into the Czech Republic for competition purposes. 5
