Established in 1985 Leask Marine experience and range of service allows us to provide a turnkey solution to meet our clients specific needs and achieve their objectives Leask Marine operates a fleet of multipurpose workboats including the MV C-Odyssey, a 26m Multiworker, and the MV C-Salvor, a 23.3m Damen Dredge Helper. In addition to our workboat charter services Leask Marine operates several teams of divers, 50% of whom work on renewable projects. MV C-Odyssey The MV C-Odyssey, a Multiworker 26, is a versatile and multiple purpose shallow draft vessel. The MV C-Odyssey was purpose built for the renewable industry in 2011 and offers a stable work platform from which many vital marine services may be performed. The MV C-Odyssey can be configured with different equipment including a containerised diver station and diver decompression chamber. The MV C-Odyssey is used extensively for renewable projects, harbour maintenance, dive support, marine cable laying applications as well as many other types of marine operations.

Purchased in 2012 the C-Salvor is a versatile multipurpose vessel providing a stable work platform from which many vital marine services may be performed. Like the MV C-Odyssey the MV C-Salvor can be configured with different equipment including a containerised diver station and diver decompression chamber. The C-Salvor has a proven track record of its capabilities on a diverse range of projects including: renewable projects, harbour maintenance, dive support and marine cable laying applications.

Mooring & Anchor Capabilities Most sites require moorings to enable the vessels to hold on station. We provide moorings for installation, maintenance or diver intervention. We store a vast arrangement of moorings along with ground chains, wires and buoyage which enables us to cater for every scenario. Aquamarine Power Ltd EMEC Wave test site Billa Croo Water depth 15m Average wave height 2-4 meters APL commenced operational testing of the second-generation Oyster 800 wave energy machine in June 2012. They also produced first electrical power to the grid the same month. Oyster 800 has a maximum generating capacity of 800kW at any given time. The machine measures 26 metres across its width. Voith Hydro Power Generation EMEC Tidal test site Falls of Warness Water depth 36m Maximum Current speed 11 Knots Slack water period varying from 0 45 minutes Voith is currently assembling a 1MW commercial size demonstrator being tested at EMEC. Preparatory works commenced in summer 2011 with a 23m monopile installed in the seabed at EMEC s tidal test site at the Fall of Warness off the northern island of Eday. The 1MW horizontal axis turbine HyTide which is 13m in diameter and weighs 200 tonnes was installed in 2013.
