NBA TV to Televise 107 Games During 2018-19 Regular Season with Double-Digit Appearances by Defending Champion Warriors, Rockets, Celtics, 76ers, Lakers & Thunder Friday, August 10, 2018 Editor s note: click here for the NBA on TNT regular season schedule Network s Live Game Schedule Tips Off with Five Games in Four Nights, Beginning with Raptors & New Acquisition Kawhi Leonard vs. Wizards & John Wall, Saturday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. ET Regular Season Coverage to Culminate with 22 Games in 20 Days, March 19- April 7 NBA TV will televise 107 live games during the 2018-19 regular season with the league s biggest stars and top teams in action, highlighted by double-digit appearances by multiple teams, including the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, the Houston Rockets with reigning Kia NBA MVP James Harden and Chris Paul, and the star-laden Boston Celtics with Kyrie Irving and Jayson Tatum, Philadelphia 76ers with Joel Embiid and Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons, Los Angeles Lakers with LeBron James, Oklahoma City Thunder with Russell Westbrook and Paul George, and Toronto Raptors with Kawhi Leonard. The network will tip off its regular season coverage with five games in four nights, beginning Saturday, Oct. 20 when the new-look Raptors and Leonard meet the Washington Wizards and John Wall at 7 p.m. ET. On Sunday, Oct. 21, Paul will visit his former team Rockets vs. LA Clippers at 9 p.m. NBA TV s first doubleheader of the season Monday, Oct. 22 will feature the Celtics and Irving hosting the Orlando Magic and Aaron Gordon at 7:30 p.m., followed by the first national telecast of the new-look San Antonio Spurs and DeMar DeRozan when they visit the Lakers and James at 10:30 p.m. The 76ers vs. Detroit Pistons telecast will air the next night, Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.
In addition to Opening Week s five games in four nights, NBA TV will have a flurry of games over a concentrated number of days several times throughout the season, including six games over six days (Nov. 19-24), seven games in four days (Dec. 8-11), seven games over seven days around the holidays (Dec. 26-Jan. 1) and 22 games in 20 days to close out the regular season (Mar. 19-Apr. 7). NBA TV will feature a special Martin Luther King, Jr. Day doubleheader on Monday, Jan. 21, starting with the Thunder and Westbrook visiting the New York Knicks and rookie Kevin Knox at 12:30 p.m., followed by a matchup of top 10 draft picks the Atlanta Hawks and No. 5 overall selection Trae Young hosting the Magic and No. 6 pick Mohamed Bamba at 3 p.m. Two games played outside the United States will also air on the network, the NBA Mexico City Games 2018 featuring the Utah Jazz and Donovan Mitchell vs. the Magic and Gordon on Saturday, December 15, at 5 p.m. and the NBA London Game 2019 Knicks and Knox vs. Wizards and Bradley Beal on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 3 p.m. Overall, NBA TV will feature 30 doubleheaders and one tripleheader this season with additional game highlights including: Friday, Oct. 26 The defending NBA Champion Warriors will visit the Knicks at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Sacramento Kings with No. 2 overall pick Marvin Bagley III hosting the Wizards and Wall at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 The 76ers with Simmons and Embiid will visit the Raptors with Leonard and Kyle Lowry in a matchup of two of last season s best Eastern Conference teams at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 A Western Conference doubleheader featuring some of the league s recent MVP winners and finalists, including the New Orleans Pelicans and Anthony Davis vs. the Thunder and Westbrook at 8 p.m. The Memphis Grizzlies and No. 4 overall pick Jaren Jackson, Jr. will visit the Warriors and Durant at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 A pair of rookie point guards will be on display the Cleveland Cavaliers and No. 8 overall pick Collin Sexton vs. the Charlotte Hornets and Kemba Walker at 7 p.m. followed by the Hawks and Young visiting the defending Champion Warriors and Klay Thompson at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17 Gordon Hayward will face his former team when the Jazz and Mitchell visit the Celtics at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 The top two picks in the NBA Draft will be showcased in a doubleheader, beginning with No. 1 draft pick Deandre Ayton and the Phoenix Suns visiting the 76ers and Embiid at 7 p.m., followed by Bagley III and the Kings hosting the Thunder and George at 10 p.m.
