GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS Snowdonia Farms, LLC and the show management or its employees or GHCTA will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to persons, horses or property. Each minor exhibitor must have a parent, guardian or qualified instructor sign the release form. Each entrant is responsible for riding a properly conditioned horse in a safe manner. Management reserves the right to stop and eliminate unsafe riders or improperly conditioned horses. Entries that are eliminated during the jumping phases for jumping penalties are required to leave the course and may not compete in any remaining jumping phase. Unless otherwise stipulated, competitions will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the USEA as described in the current rule book. Properly fitted, safety approved, protective headgear with chinstrap harness must be worn whenever mounted. Safety approved vests must also be worn during the cross country phase. USEA medical card must be worn during all jumping phases. Numbers must be worn and visible. Ribbons will be awarded 1 st thru 6 th place. Divisions with sufficient entries will be divided into sections. Entry fee is $80.00 for CT and $25.00 for Dressage Test only. Stalls are $30.00 day stall. Stabling is limited, so please check availability. A $20.00 grounds fee is charged for all horses not stabled. Qualified and experienced EMT available during show. $10.00 medic fee per entry. Dressage: 2018 USEF Training Test A Stadium: 8-12 jumping efforts at 3ft 3in. over a course of ~450m @ 320mpm Cross Country: 16-20 jumping efforts, max ht. 3ft 3in. Course to 2500m @ ~420mpm. **NOVICE** Open to horse/rider combinations that have not completed more than 2 events at the Training Level in the past 24 months. Dressage: 2018 USEF Novice Test A Stadium: 10 jumping efforts at max ht 2ft 11in. over a course of ~450m @ 325mpm. Cross Country: 12-18 jumping efforts, max ht. 2ft 11in. Course to 1800m @ ~350mpm. **BEGINNER NOVICE** Open to horse/rider combinations that have not completed more than 2 events at the Novice Level in the past 24 months. Dressage: 2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test B. Test may NOT be called. Stadium: 8-10 jumping efforts at max ht. 2ft 6in. over a course of ~350. No time penalties. Cross Country: 12-18 jumping efforts, max ht. 2ft 9in. Course to 1500m. No time penalties. Course will be straightforward and inviting. **GOLDILOCKS** Open to horse/rider combinations that have not completed more than 2 events at the Beginner Novice Level in the past 24 months. Dressage: 2018 USEF Beginner Novice Test A. Test may be called. Stadium: 8-10 jumping efforts at max ht. 2ft 3in over a course of ~350. No time penalties. No combinations. No flowers. Inviting first fence. Cross Country: 10-14 jumping efforts, max ht. 2ft 3in. Course to ~1200m. No time penalties. Course will be straightforward and inviting. Water crossing will be optional. **GREEN AS GRASS** Open to horses that have not competed above the Beginner Level or riders that have not competed Beginner Level. Dressage: 2015 USDF Introductory Test C Stadium: 6-8 jumping efforts at max ht. 2ft over a course of ~300m. Not timed. Mostly cross rails. No combinations.
