Exhibits must not have attained a score greater than 60% at this level. TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Nomination for this event confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions and any other SAQ guidelines that are applicable for this event (i.e. Horse Welfare policy etc.) see SAQ website for full copy of rules. 2. Competitors disobeying these rules may be disqualified from this event without refund of nominations. 3. No refunds after closing date, except with vet or medical certificate. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class; combine classes (if less than 3 competitors); alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. 5. Neither the organising committee of this event nor the SAQ accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property. 6. Protests must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of an incident occurring and a $100 fee will apply. The fee will only be refunded if the protest is upheld. 7. All junior participants (under 18 years) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the entire event. 8. Complying helmets and boots must be worn. Strictly no helmet/no ride policy at this event. 9. Stallions are permitted but must be bitted or chained at any time. Display of EA Stallion disks is encouraged. Stallions are to be supervised/ridden by persons 18yo or over only. 10. Hendra vaccinations are not compulsory for this event. 11. All horses must present for this competition drug free. 12. Dress Code: Formal attire riding coat with shirt and tie/stock, beige or white coloured jods. Complying helmets must be worn. Horses preferably to be plaited. 13. Classes will be conducted under EA Rules, in conjunction with the rules and conditions stated herein. 14. Completed Liability Forms and Horse Health Declarations forms must be submitted by all participants upon arrival at the event. 15. A rider may enter more than one horse; however, classes will not be held up and officials will not be asked to hold horses. 16. Rider may ride more than one horse; however, horse can only be ridden in one level. 17. Gear check is required by all riders before riding. Rider must have their gear checked 20 mins prior to their class. Failure to present on time for gear check may result in disqualification without refund of nominations. 18. Event Draw will be published on the SAQ Website prior to the event. Please allow at least 30 mins before your draw time to complete paperwork and attend gear check. 19. Numbers will be capped at 50 Competitors -first in get to compete. 20. Dressage Test Callers are allowed for all tests except for the Freestyle. 21. All tests can be downloaded from the SAQ Website 22. Each rider is required to nominate a helper for up to one hour. Please include the name of helper on the nomination form. By nominating you are also agreeing to either Pencil/Steward or supply a helper during the event or having your entry amended to HC. Additional Rules which apply for 2018 Standardbred State Dressage Championships 23. The 2018 Standardbred State Dressage Championship is open to all Purebred Standardbreds. 24. To be eligible for the 2018 SAQ Standardbred State Dressage Championships, the additional fee must be paid at the time of nominating. Horses will compete in the Open competition and scores from eligible Standardbreds will then be extracted from the open competition points database to obtain placing s for 2018 Standardbred State Dressage Championships. Additional tests will not be required. Competitors in the 2018 State Dressage Championships will be eligible for all awards and placing s in both Open and State sections of this Competition. 25. You must nominate for the 2018 Standardbred State Dressage Championships by close of nominations, 21st April, 2018. 26. Highest Scoring dressage test from classes 1 10 of the 2018 Standardbred State Dressage Championships & AM3 round score from the 2018 Standardbred Show Jumping Championships will be used to award 1 st 6 th placing s and State Champion/Reserve Champion Combined Training Award. To contest these awards, participants must also compete in designated AM3 round at our 2018 Standardbred State Show Jumping Championships on 10 th June, 2018. These awards will be presented at the 2018 State Show Jumping Championships. You must nominate for the Standardbred State Combined Training by close of nominations, 21st April, 2018. 27. All points accumulated from Standardbreds in the 2018 Standardbred State Dressage Championships competition will be used to obtain Overall State Champion Top 5 Exhibit and Exhibitors by combining all points awarded for all three 2018 SAQ State Level Competitions Dressage, Show Jumping and Led/Ridden/Harness.
