Carleton Place Sportsmen Hockey League (CPSHL). 2015-2016 Welcome new and returning players to another season! We would like to highlight several provisions within the Code of Discipline to ensure everyone is aware of these provisions: 1. All league player registration fees are due in full at time of registration. Any player whose registration fees are not paid by this date will result in the suspension of playing privileges until such time as the fees are paid. There will be NO exceptions. 2. The league employs a graduated threshold system for penalty minutes, where once a player has accumulated penalty minutes in excess of a pre-determined threshold, a suspension is assessed. 3. Any infraction, which amounts to intent to injure, match penalty, etc. as determined by the presiding referees, will be subject to review and may result in game suspensions to be determined by the league executive. 4. Each team captain will appoint a representative to deal any infractions requiring review or suspension. 5. Three minor penalties in one game constitute a game ejection, which carries no further suspensions for the first occurrence. 6. The Carleton Place Sportsmen Hockey League is designed to provide non-contact hockey at the recreational level. Disrespect towards game and administrative officials, and/or injurious actions by players will not be tolerated. Violation of the league rules may be just cause for ejection from the CPSHL without refund of fees paid. Finally, we remind you that our current use of dressing rooms has been lenient and to maintain this privilege please keep the door locked when appropriate, clean the room of any inappropriate waste, and clear the rooms in a timely fashion.
