West, when the club parlayed that triumph into its first World Series title...the 95 wins last year were the most by a KC squad since the 1980 Royals went 97-65...dating back to the start of the 2013 season, Kansas City has a 282-225 record for a.558 winning pct., the best mark in the American League, fourth best in the Majors (St. Louis, Pittsburgh and L.A.)...KC has nine more total wins in that span than the second best A.L. club Baltimore (275). THE COMEBACK KIDS--In winning 11 games during the 2015 postseason, the Royals had to come from behind in eight of those victories, including an unprecedented seven comebacks from a multiple-run deficit...kc rallied from a one-run deficit in Game #2 of the World Series against the Mets, while coming back from two runs behind on three other occasions during the Fall Classic, capped by the two-run rally in the top of the ninth inning of the deciding Game #5, sending the game to extra innings with the Royals plating five runs in the 12th to seal the title...kansas City also rallied from a two-run deficit in the deciding game of the ALDS vs. the Astros to advance to the League Championship Series vs. Toronto...the Royals came from three runs back in Game #2 of both the ALDS vs. Houston and the ALCS vs. the Blue Jays...the biggest comeback of the fall matched the same scenario of the 2014 Wild Card game vs. the A s, as KC was down by four runs to Houston with six outs to go in game #4 at Minute Maid Park, but plated five in the top of the eighth and two more in the ninth to get to a deciding Game #5 in Kauffman Stadium. vs. Mariners (2015) vs. Mariners (career) On Road (career) Hernandez (career) Miley (career) Player AVG AB H HR RBI AVG AB H HR RBI AVG AB H HR RBI AVG AB H HR RBI AVG AB H HR RBI Butera.000 3 0 0 0 Cain.353 17 6 0 3 Colon 1.000 1 1 0 0 Dyson.286 7 2 0 2 Escobar.500 24 12 0 4 Gordon.182 22 4 0 0 Gore.000 0 0 0 0 Hosmer.292 24 7 1 3 Infante.364 11 4 0 4 Morales.200 20 4 0 0 Moustakas.409 22 9 2 6 Orlando.000 2 0 0 0 Perez.263 19 5 0 0.094 32 3 0 2.222 72 16 2 11 1.000 1 1 0 0.233 43 10 0 4.234 137 32 1 16.290 221 64 6 24.000 0 0 0 0.291 127 37 2 12.230 161 37 2 20.279 247 69 13 48.238 101 24 4 11.000 2 0 0 0.344 96 33 3 10.197 390 77 7 37.273 970 265 15 100.307 75 23 0 8.246 521 128 0 25.259 1911 494 13 156.262 2220 582 67 238.000 0 0 0 0.285 1490 424 43 195.278 2684 747 53 289.267 1630 435 66 237.245 1307 320 45 147.219 128 28 3 10.276 1123 310 39 146.000 2 0 0 0.000 6 0 0 0 - - - - -.333 12 4 0 0.375 16 6 0 3.174 23 4 0 3 - - - - -.333 12 4 0 0.071 14 1 0 2.280 50 14 1 8.333 9 3 0 2 - - - - -.333 12 4 0 0.000 4 0 0 0.286 7 2 0 0.000 2 0 0 0.250 4 1 0 0.182 11 2 0 0.286 7 2 0 0 - - - - -.125 8 1 0 0.125 8 1 0 0.500 6 3 0 0.222 9 2 1 1.000 3 0 0 0.833 6 5 1 3 Starting Pitchers Breakdown Total KC Avg.
