The International Instructors Course (IIC) will take place on the 15 th 16 th and 17 th of September 2017 hosted by International Tchnical Commission ITF made up of: Gran Master Hector Marano (IX dan Argentina) Gran Master Ung Kim Lan (IX dan Germany) Master Pierre Laquerre (VIII dan Canada) The Course is open to all black belts from I dan to IX dan. 1. INFORMATION The 122nd International Instructors Course will take place at: Palazzetto dello Sport PalaCarucci Viale Europa n. 204 (04019) Terracina (LT) Italia 2. TRANSPORT The participants can easily find the International Instructors Course address 100 km south of Rome on the west coast. By plane:. Whether arriving from Leonardo da Vinci (FCO) airport or Ciampino (CIA) airport in Rome you can take a shuttle bus to the Termini Train Station. Once there you will need to take the Napoli Centrale train. This train will bring you to the Monte San Biagio Train Station within one hour. Taking the shuttle bus from there to Terracina is approximately 15km. By train:. At the Termini train station take the Napoli Centrale train to Monte San Biagio. It is approximately a one hour ride. Upon arrival take the shuttle bus to Terracina. By car: Terracina is easily accessible by all major roads. For further information, you can contact ANXUR TOURS at gianluca@anxurtours.it. BANQUET On the evening of September 16 therewill be a buffet style banquet where you will have the opportunity to speak with the Grand Masters and various Masters in a relaxed and cordial atmosphere. More details pertaining to venue and menu and other information to follow. The price per person is 40,00. The banquet will be a semi formal event therefore, no jeans, T-shirts or running shoes allowed. 7. COURSE CONTENTS L'International Instructors Course (IIC) will be organized as followed: - Tuls from Chon Ji to Tong-Il; - Step sparring; - Self defence; - ITF Instructors qualification; - Examination from IV dan and higher (pending previous approval of the AN or AA and ITF membership); 7. REGISTRATION Upon registering, we will give you more details and information to help you prepare for the IIC. Registration must be implemented by filling out the Individual Application Form e Registration Form in Excel using the FITAE, ITF and AETF websites (or obtsining a copy from the Fitae secretary), and sent to iicterracina2017@libero.it. You must also include a copy of your organization/participation fee. This fee must be made out to the Federazione Italiana Taekwon Do ITF
The IIC Organization Fee and Banquet Fee can be paid directly at the Info Point up on arrival. Further information regarding the Info Point will be communicated as soon as possible. A temporary registration with the IIC will be carried out for a 7 day period. Once having received confirmation of payment, the registration will be confirmed. You will receive a confirmation of your registration by way of email that you gave when filling out your registration form. We cannot reimburse you after confirmation has taken place. Participants must register with the ITF online via their National Association or Allied Association. Registration must be done as soon as possible to ensure confirmation. 9. The IIC Organization fee - 55,00 can be paid in cash the day of arrival and registration at the Info Point during the following hours:: Thursday 14 h. 18.00-20.00 / Friday 15 h. 09.30-12.30. 10. TEST FOR DEGREE PROMOTION During the International Instructors Course (IIC) participants will have the opportunity to participate in the dan exam. The candidates must: - send in the appropriate Application form, letter of approval from the National/Allied Association, resumé and thesis using their National/Allied Association at least 3 months prior to the ITF Administrative Secretary; - bring 5 wood blocks 30x30x2 (only for exam candidates from IV to VIII dan); - pay the exam fee in cash one hour prior to the exam; - exam will terminated on 16/09/2017 at 16.00 17.30 and the results will be comunicated to the candidates immediately following the exam; - no spectators will be allowed during the exam; candidates can be accompanied by their instructors. 11. BEHAVIOR RULES DURING THE IIC During the course: - participants must wear a clean, ironed official ITF Dobok; - prior to each session, the participants must line up and greet the Grand Master and Masters and must remain in said position until they leave the training area; - participants must be have according to the Taekwon-do principals;
- during the course, the participants must assume the correct posture and position with their hands behind their backs; when seated they must have their legs crossed never allowing their soles to face the Grand Master and Master; - participants may ask questions, however, before doing so, they must stand upon the correct position with their hands behind their backs, say their name and place of origin; - no spectators allowed during the course; - photos and videos are allowed only with permission by the IIC Organization Commission; - a participation certificate (diploma) will be given out by the IIC only to those participants who participated and completed the course. 12. OTHER INFORMATION All participants must obtain the necessary documentation needed to enter Italy. If you need a Visa to enter the Country please see your committee organizer no later than 01/08/2017. Terracina and its surroundings offer many tourist attractions and activities. Rome, The Eternal City, is only 100 km away wonderful excursions to neighboring cities and cultural sites can be organized.
