Directions available at PWC transporter. 2.00 The Circuit 2.01 The Control Line, used for timing purposes, will be at the Start/Finish line. 2.02 Flag signals (Black, Black/White, etc.) will be given from the finish line gantry. 2.03 The Pit Lane speed limit for practice, qualifying and the race will be 35mph. Drivers are reminded to look for the display boards which signify the control lines. 2.04 When leaving the pits competitors must not cross the solid line at the pit exit. Please note that the line extends for a considerable distance. 2.05 If you encounter any mechanical problem, which might cause oil or water to be deposited on the track, please leave the circuit when it is safe to do so and in every case keep clear of the racing line. 2.06 Competitors are reminded not to exceed the Track Limits. Penalties may be applied in all sessions. 2.07 Burn Outs and Practice Starts are NOT allowed in the Pit Lane. 3.00 Practice & Qualifying 3.01 Access to the circuit for Practice and Qualifying is from the Pre-Assembly Area in the paddock and through the gate onto the circuit at Turn 8. A Pace car will lead the cars from the Paddock, onto the track and into the Pit Lane. 3.02 As a change to previous qualifying sessions, there will be no yellow flags and no controlled first lap. The session will begin at the designated time and the pit exit will be opened. 3.03 Any cars or equipment that do not pass through the gate at Turn 8 at the correct time will miss the access window. 3.04 At the end of each session, competitors will pass the chequered flag, slow down and leave the circuit at Turn 8, returning to our Paddock. 3.05 If you wish to travel slowly to get a clear lap, this must be done without hindering another competitor in any way whatsoever and please look in your mirrors. This is particularly important at this track with its width and concrete walls. 3.06 Weaving, using the full width of the track is not permitted. 3.07 Competitors are reminded that if a fast lap time is set whilst having exceeded the track limits then the lap time may be removed. Race Control will communicate this to the competitor s team. 4.00 Races 4.01 Each race is to a fixed time, not a specific number of laps. 4.02 Cars will be pre-assembled as before and then enter the circuit through the gate, proceed around the track and will go straight into Pit Lane. 4.03 Once cars are assembled the Formation Lap will begin. Please keep the Formation Lap as tight and as quick as possible. Any car that fails to maintain its position during the Formation Lap must not overtake or seek to resume its original starting position. WCV Competition Department Page 4 Peter Roberts Chief Steward 17 th March 2016v2

Drivers Briefing Notes 4.04 The race will be a rolling start. At the end of the Formation Lap if the cars are formed correctly the Pace Car will enter the Pit Lane and the leading car will set the pace at 50-55mph into the Acceleration Zone. A Green Flag signifies the start of the race. Racing begins throughout the field at that time. 4.05 Any car that cannot maintain its position during the Formation Lap must fall back to the rear of the class. For GT/GTA this will be the rear of the whole group. Gaps in the grid must not be filled by following cars. 4.06 Any move by a driver that is reactive to a following car or cars attempting to pass, will be deemed as blocking. Maneuvers liable to hinder other drivers, such as deliberate crowding of a car beyond the edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, are strictly prohibited. Any driver who appears guilty of any of the above offences will be reported to the Stewards. 4.07 At the end of the race, competitors will pass the chequered flag, complete one slowing down lap and then leave the circuit through the gate at Turn 8 as before. 5.00 Flags 5.01 Drivers are reminded that yellow flags are a warning of danger and mean that there is a car stopped beside or partly on the track. Drivers are to reduce speed and be prepared to change direction if necessary. Overtaking is forbidden. 5.02 Double Yellows are used for a Full Course Caution and mean that there is car wholly or partly blocking the track and possibly with marshals working on or besides the track. Drivers must reduce speed significantly and be prepared to change direction or stop. Overtaking is forbidden. 5.03 You are reminded that if waved yellow flags are shown at the start then this is to signify that a car has stalled or is moving very slowly it is not a Full Course Yellow. 5.04 A waved blue flag in the race will normally only be shown to a car about to be lapped. This car should give way at the earliest opportunity. 5.05 If a driver overtakes another competitor when the On Board Safety Light is on or if yellow flags are being shown then the place must be given back. 5.06 Should an incident occur at the first corner on the first lap, the Green Flag will be replaced with a Yellow Flag at the start. 6.00 Safety Car 6.01 The Safety Car will be deployed from the Pit Lane. Double Yellow Flags will be displayed around the circuit. All cars must slow down immediately. All cars must remain within five yards of the car in front. 6.02 When the incident is clear then Race Control will instruct that the Safety Car lights be switched off. The lights will be switched off at Turn 8. The leading car controls the pace once the Safety Car departs. Racing resumes once the Green Flag is shown. 7.00 Notes from St. Petersburg 7.01 Driving standards were not consistent. Racing room must be allowed by all drivers. 7.02 On board TV cards must be utilized and maintained by all teams. Drivers may be summoned to see the Stewards and should bring their on-board TV footage with them it may work in your defense!
