SCORING AND MARKING OF TARGETS: Each shot on the target counts as two points. (You can only miss a total of ten shots) To work out the percentage of the Handgun shoot, simply double the number of hits on the target to get a percentage e.g. 41/50 = 82%. When marking a paper target you are required to draw a line into each bullet hole as you count it. If a recount is required, you will cross each existing line once leaving an X on each line which has previously drawn into the bullet hole. For the Handgun Shoot: 2 A4 Targets shall be used spaced no less than 15cm apart. Any hit on the A4 shall count so long as the paper is cut by 50% of the bullet. A lead mark on the edge of the paper, which does not cut the paper, does not count. P.F.T.C. / SASSETA / SAPS Accredited - www.magnum-sa.co.za 2
