For the 2017 season, Kristoffersson will join Petter Solberg in a VW which has been developed in Hanover, Germany. He began his driving career in rallycross in 1992, and he got the championship of the World RX first edition. He is the first person ever to become an FIA World Champion in two disciplines (World RX and WRC). The Frenchman is the world s most successful rally driver, having amassed a staggering nine WRC titles. Since 2016, Loeb competes full time in World RX driving a Peugeot 208 WRX Supercar. Reigning World RX Champion and two-time DTM Champion, Mattias Ekström spent his youth in RX paddocks with his dad Bengt, who drove in the European Championship. The Swedish driver competes with an Audi S1 ERKS RX quattro in the Team EKS. Son of Kenneth Hansen, winner of 14 FIA European Rallycross titles, Timmy won the Swedish Karting Championship in 2008. Timmy drives a Peugeot 208 for the Team Peugeot-Hansen, the automobile he drove to win the sub-championship in 2015.
