All Entry Fees include Friday Practice Friday September 26, 2014 ENTRIES WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ONLINE USING THE FOLLOWING METHOD: KA ONLINE ENTRIES: a. Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/cms/member b. Enter your log on details c. Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting d. Then choose QLD and then select Karting Queensland ENTRIES:. All tee shirt order forms must be emailed to raceofstars@kartingqld.com.au by 26 th September. The Official Race of Stars tee shirt will be available for $25.00 in various sizes. The order form will be available at http://www.karting.net.au/administration/supplementary- regulations METHOD OF PAYMENT: Credit Card at time of entry via CMS Secure Payment method is the only method of payment available. There are no credit card surcharge fees applicable. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Eligibility is limited to drivers who are holders of a current International A, B, or C licence, A or B Grade KA licence. C grade or provisional licence holders are not eligible to enter. Your attention is drawn to Rule 20.25(g) Only invited drivers are eligible to compete in this event Refusal or acceptance of entries as per rule 1.16 Race Number allocation will be accepted as per the CMS System. This will be on a first in basis. The Race Secretary has the right to allocate numbers as required. The promoters reserve the right to abandon, postpone or cancel any event as per the 2014 KA Manual Refund of Entry Fee as per rule 23.10(b)(ii & iii) NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED MINIMUM ENTRIES (Rule 20.25): If less than eight (8) genuine entries are received to constitute a Class by the listed close of entries then the Class will NOT be contested. All drivers whose entry is not accepted for any Class shall be notified as soon as possible and entry fee will be returned.

Page 5 TIMETABLE: The Xtreme Karting track will be closed to all competitors equipment until Friday October 17 th. The Facility will be open on Thursday October 16th for pit allocation and set up. See Lee Hanatschek (0403 531 914) for allocation) Thursday October 16 Gates Open Pit Allocation Friday October 17 Gates Open Scrutineering Unofficial Timed Practice Sessions (as per timetable) *Drivers must have confirmed entry and transponders MUST be fitted to decide qualifying grid order. Drivers Briefing Saturday October 18 Gates Open Qualifying Racing Starts 2pm 2pm- 5pm 6:30am 10.00am 1.00pm 10:00am 4:30pm 5:00pm 6:00am 8:00am At the completion of qualifying Note: Starting and Finishing Times of All Competitions A full timetable of the starting and finishing times for each Classes Competition at the Meeting will be provided in Further Supplementary Regulations to be published after the close of entries in accordance with Rule 16.8. *Any Addendums to these Supplementary Regulations can be viewed on the Karting Australia website at http://www.karting.net.au/administration/supplementary- regulations PRIZES: Trophies will be awarded as per rule 20.31 Trophies will be awarded to 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd placings in each class GENERAL REGULATIONS MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN LANE (Refer Rule 17.10): The Mechanical Breakdown lane will be in use at this event for practice ONLY. KART RETRIEVAL: Pit Crew with trolleys will NOT be given access to the circuit during qualifying and racing. Retrieval is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshall and then only if wearing a hi- viz vest. Karts can be retrieved via access through the In/Out Grid. INSURANCE: Has been effected for this Meeting in accordance with Chapter 3 of the 2014 KA Manual. SCRUTINEERING: Scrutineering for this race meeting will be in accordance with KA Rules. In particular we draw your attention to Rules 1.17, 1.21, 1.22 and Chapter 12 of KA Rules.

Page 6 As per rule 1.17 of the 2014 KA Manual, each kart shall have affixed to it a correct scrutineering sticker or identifying mark supplied for the meeting. This signifies that the driver has confirmed their entry for the meeting and completed a Scrutineering Form relevant to the entry. As from Friday October 17th at 1.00pm, the Grid Marshall / Scrutineers shall not allow any kart that does not display a correct scrutineering sticker or identifying mark to practice, time- qualify or race. Failure to comply will result in the driver being excluded from the Meeting. Scrutineering for this event will be in accordance with KA Rules. ENGINE SEALING AND CHASSIS TAGGING: As per rules 1.30(i) and 1.30(j) of the 2014 KA Manual APPROVED FUEL We draw your attention to KA Rules 22.2 in relation to fuel. ELF LMS is approved as a fuel for the KZ2 class ONLY *Random samples of competitor s fuel may be taken during the meeting and tested for conformity to KA regulations. No dumping of fuel will be allowed on site. TRANSPONDER FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: AMB compatible transponders must be mounted in accordance with Rule 25.31. Note: All karts have fitted and correctly charged and operating transponders for all sessions including practice commencing Friday 17 th October. TIMING AND LAP SCORING RECORDING: As per rule 20.28 of the KA Manual. TYRE POOLING (Rule 23.10) Tyre Pooling will occur at this meeting for the KZ2, KF3 and TAG 125 classes only. The tyres to be used in racing in the KZ2 and KF3 will be issued through the MG Tyres representative s trackside at a time to be advised in the final event timetable. These tyres must be fitted and used at the commencement of qualifying and must remain in use throughout racing. Payment for tyres will be the driver s responsibility and payable to the MG Tyres representative on the day. The tyres to be used in racing in the TAG 125 will be issued through the Dunlop Tyres representative s trackside at a time to be advised in the final event timetable. These tyres must be fitted and used at the commencement of qualifying and must remain in use throughout racing. Payment for tyres will be the driver s responsibility and payable to the Dunlop Tyres representative on the day. NB - All competitors are to supply their own wet weather tyres and must present them for marking scanning to the nominated area when directed. BULLETIN BOARD LOCATION Official notices will be posted on the Bulletin Board located at the Race Secretaries Office VEHICLE / TRAILER ACCESS: Only vehicles/trailers approved by event organisers will be allowed to remain in the pit area. All other trailers and vehicles will need to be removed once unloaded.

Page 7 SECURITY: Security will be provided in the evening on Thursday 16th & Friday 17 th Oct. TRADE AREAS Limited trade areas will be made available to Traders on application at the discretion /approval of the Organisers. If Trade Areas are required please email raceofstars@kartingqld.com.au CANTEEN TIMETABLE Thursday Friday Saturday Closed 8am 4pm 6.30am 4pm FURTHER NOTES: No parking of motor vehicles permitted in the pit area without the permission of the Event Coordinator. Cars/trailers of Competitors & Pit crews must be parked in the designated car park area where directed) and incorrectly parked vehicles may be removed from the Circuit. Smoking or welding is not allowed in the pit areas. Dumping of fuel is not permitted. Tyre Dumping is not permitted Animals are not allowed Animals are prohibited with the exception of nominated Caretaker and Security company s guard dogs and assistance dogs. Riding of scooters or bikes is not permitted. A clear visor is required for twilight or dull conditions. Camping is not permitted. These Supplementary Regulations must be read in conjunction with the 2014 KA Manual and all published Amendments.
