Hurst is located in the middle of a major highway construction project. Please allow additional travel time. Games will not be delayed for players or managers stuck in traffic. ROSTERS: PLAYER CHECK-IN: AWARDS: Rosters must be complete and submitted on an official TAAF roster (attached). Additionally, rosters must be verified by the team s local TAAF representative. Rosters are due at first game check-in. Check-in begins 45 minutes prior to the first game. Team must check-in at least 30 minutes before their first game and all player s must present a valid Texas Driver s License PRIOR to playing in any game. A driver s license is needed to verify age. Any player that does not check-in prior to playing may be ejected from the tournament. Team trophies are awarded to: State Champion, State Runner-up, 3rd Place, 4th Place and Tournament MVP. Cavalcade of Sports unless otherwise noted on this sheet. ROSTERS: Official T.A.A.F. Rosters, 20 players maximum, picture ID s necessary for all players. UNIFORMS: Same color jerseys with permanently affixed, contrasting, non-duplicated numbers. Numbers must comply with ASA rules. TIME LIMIT/RUN RULE: A fifty-five (55) minute time limit and a run ahead rule will be used, 12 runs ahead after 4½ or 5 innings depending on the status of the home team. Championship Game: No time limit in effect, Run Rule will be in effect. FORFEITS: Game time is forfeit time. Complete line-ups are due to the scorekeeper 15 minutes prior to game time. PROTESTS: In case of a dispute, the Tournament Committee shall be the sole judge and their decision is final. Disputes will be settled at the point of protest and prior to the continuation of the game. No protest of umpire s judgment will be allowed. A protest has to be filed prior to the next pitch. HOME/VISITOR: There will be a coin flip by the Umpire prior to the start of the game to determine home and visitor. HOME RUN RULE: Two (2) unobstructed, over the fence home runs allowed. All others will be ruled as a dead ball single. EJECTIONS: Any player ejected due to unsportsmanlike conduct will be automatically suspended for his team s next played game or more. NOTE: Depending on the severity of the infraction, the Tournament Committee may rule on a suspension period of longer than one (1) game. BALLS: Balls will be provided the City of Hurst Parks and Recreation Department. WARM-UP: No infield practice will be permitted prior to games. All warm-ups must be taken in the designated areas.
