HELLO! Welcome to the Bayside Family! We are so excited you have chosen us. If you re a returning family, we re so happy to have you back. We look forward to making this next season even better than the season before. The Bayside in Bayside Athletics is not our physical location. It is who we are; our gym atmosphere and our coaching style. Our teams, classes, and facility provide a safe harbor filled with Christ s love and grace for both our athletes and their families to grow in. We encourages our athletes to try new athletic ventures, to push their physically and mental limits, and to grow spiritually. Bayside doesn t stand for a location; it is symbolic of the environment. Welcome to Bayside! Our goal and mission for every athlete that enters our program is to develop and train them spiritually, mentally, and physically. Building them up to be more confident, become better athletes and better people on and off the competition mat. The Bayside core values are our guiding principles in how we interact with each other. They will be followed and represented by our director, coaches, athletes and parents. 1. Faith Trust, belief, confidence, conviction. Have complete trust in your heavenly creator and in your abilities to accomplish anything you put your mind to. 2. Integrity Do the right thing, all the time, even if no one is looking. 3. First Fruits Bring your best. Do all you do, with all of who you are. 4. Impact Make a positive impact on each other and the next generation. 5. Authenticity We are all created unique. Do not conform to this world, embrace your uniqueness and love and accept others for theirs. Be real and genuine towards ourselves and others. 6. Humility Be selfless. Put others before your self interests. Regard others more highly then yourself. 7. Unconditional Love one another, give grace, and extend forgiveness as God has loved you. 2 P age Rev. 3/15/2018

Thanks for helping make our competition day full of community. Please ensure that athletes are on time and fully ready at their team meet time. Hair and make up details will be posted on the team competition page. Athletes with improper hair or make up will be required to fix it prior to competing. Bayside Office will send out hotel information for all competitions by end Summer (earlier if we are able). Room blocks will fill, so please book immediately. Also note that teams will do team dinner sometimes as a fun way to bond and grow together. ***When the competition schedule is released, please block off the FULL DAYS of the competition. Plan on each competition taking the entire day from approximately 7AM 10PM as we do not receive schedules of performance times until the week before the events in most cases.*** 11 P age Rev. 3/15/2018
