The RP reported an eight year old boy had been locked out of his residence by his mother. O contacted the mother and the eight year old boy. After an investigation, the driver, Orland resident Cruz Angel Ayala (18 YOA) was arrested for DUI-Drugs; impeding traffic; driving on the wrong side of the roadway and child endangerment. Street : NEWVILLE RD @ 9 th St 140315 O responded to a reported vehicle vs. motorcycle. O arrived to find a blue and gray 2006 Harley Davidson had collided with a white, 2007, Ford, F-150. The driver of the Ford, (no info at press time) was not injured, but the two riders were injured. The driver of the motorcycle, Artois resident Larry Beck (57 YOA) was transported by Westside Ambulance to Enloe Hospital with moderate injuries. The MC rider, Orland resident Darby Carpenter (36 YOA) was transported by Enloe Flight care to Enloe Hospital with major injures. The investigation is still ongoing.
