TESTIMONIAL Crows fundraiser clicks into gear Crows Foundation ride raises funds for children Three Adelaide Crows players, staff and friends took on a two wheel challenge in September to raise funds for the Crows Foundation, cycling from Adelaide to Waikerie with a stop over in the Clare Valley. About 20 riders enjoyed breakfast at the Little Red Grape, Sevenhill on Wednesday morning, September 28. Riders had to raise $1500 to participate in the three day, 500-plus kilometre ride. Little Red Grape owner Dorham Pfeiffer presented the group with a $350 cheque for the Foundation. Crows members and supporters of the club and cycling enthusiasts can support the ride by making a donation to Porplyzia, Douglas or another current rider. Please go to http://redlinersonline.com/redlineclassic2011/ Since May 2005 the Crows Foundation has raised and donated more than $500,000 to more than 30 children s charities across SA. Porplyzia is the players representative and a Board member of the Crows Foundation. The Redline Classic Kahl Bobridge, Vincenzo Delbono Jnr, Crows player Jason Porplyzia, Thomas Spinelli and player Richard Douglas were part of a contingent of riders raising funds for the Crows Foundation who stopped off in Sevenhill for breakfast. Players representative and board member of the Crows Foundation, Jason Porplyzia. The inaugural 2011 Redline Classic has been run and won with 22 riders taking part in a 3 day, 520 kilometre journey across the State. A challenging route through the Barossa, Riverland and Mid North regions of South Australia saw the Redliners Group raise over $20,000 for the Crow s Foundation. It was a tough but rewarding experience with a feeling of real accomplishment after over 19 hours in the saddle!
