1. Organisers WINDOBONA Indoor Skydiving Vienna, Prater 38A, 1020 Vienna, Austria WINDOBONA: technical datas: WINDOBONA Indoor Skydiving Vienna is operating a modern state of the art vertical windtunnel. ISG technology Top speed up to 280km/h 14feet diameter Octagon shaped windtunnel with a 4 m high glaschamber, total height 17m, diffusing starts at the height of 4m. Air-exchanged based cooling system Event facilities: Registration at the entrance area at the reception Judges will have separate room including all necessary video equipment All videos getting transferred to a server and will be available for the judges and competitior 2 briefingrooms for the teams Free wifi for the judges and competitiors 2. Aim of the competition To determine the winners in the 1 st Austrian National in Indoor Skydiving (all participants with a Austrian sporting license) in Indoor Skydiving and the 1 st WIndobona Open. The Austrian nationals will be hold in the following disciplines: Formation 4 way-aaa /general class Vertical Formation 2-way /general class Vertical Formation 4-way / general class Formation 2-way / general class Formation 2-way /general class Dynamic 2-way / general class
3. Key Personal and Management The organizer of the 1 st Austrian Nationals is the Austrian Aeroclub in collaboration with WINDOBONA Indoor Skydiving Vienna. Competition Director: Uschi Iragorri ( i. Transportation By airplane: Vienna: Schwechat internationaler airport, 25min by train S7, Station Praterstern By car: Direction: Praterstern or Messe Prater Parking: Pratergarage or parking space at the petrolstation at the Ausstellungsstrasse. The 2 nd district has short-term parking rules. By public transport: Diverse underground stops: Praterstern (U1 and U2). 8. 9. Pre-event training Additional trainingtime can be purchased before the competition for Off Peak time prices for 670 /h. The trainingtime can be booked in 10 or 15min blocks. 10. 11. Entries - deadline Deadline of entries: 10.02.2017. All registrations by mail to. There is no limitation of teams, just a limitation in the schedule of the event. The organizer has the right to deny teams due to the event schedule. The minimum amount of teams in each discipline is 1. Late-registration is possible if the event-schedule allows it and the organizer accepts. Late-registrations are accepted latest until the meeting of the teamleaders. late-registration fee is 20 in addition to the normal registration fee. 12. Eligibility and sporting licenses Each discipline is an Open competition and is open to competitor of any nationality. Team members can be from the same or different nationality. Team members may be of any gender. All competitors should be experienced tunnelflyers. One alternate, per team, may be nominated before the competition starts. An individual may be a member of only one team per category, even if this is an alternate. No alternate can be nominated in the disciplines having only 2 performers. In parallel of the Open competition, there will be awards for all teams holding Austrian Sporting Licenses (except FS 4way Rookie). All team members needs to hold the Austrian Sporting Licenses. This needs to be announced with the registration. If a competitor competes in 2 disciplines the rules for breaks and calls that are mentioned in the Sportingcode-Section 5 are not effective. 13. 15. Safety Information & Required Equipment All participants are required to wear a helmet and equipment which is in compliance with Sporting Code Section 5-2016 Edition V2.0. Parachutes or Mock Parachutes are not permitted inside the flying chamber. The competitior is not allowed to use open metal /plastic helmet mounts on any part of the equipment (helmet, suit, leadbelt) inside the windtunnel. WINDOBONA reserves the right to prohibit you of entering the flightchamber if the equipment is not in compliance with this rules. WINDOBONA also declares the right to disqualify the competitor if the safety rules and equipment rules are not used. Employers of WINDOBONA has the right to check the equipment at any time during the competition period. We recommend the competitors to bring their own leadbelts as the number of leadbelt in WINDOBONA is limited. 16. Insurances and Waivers All competitors need to sign the participantwaiver of WINDOBONA Indoor Skydiving. WINDOBONA recommends to be covered by a health insurance, repatriation and thirdparty liability coverage. Any injury and damage is the responsibility of the competitior. WINDOBONA is not taking responsibility for any loss or damage of personal equipment. 17. Emergency Medical Services During the competiton First-Aid trained persons will available on the competitionside at any time. Full medical service will be available using the emergency call 112. Hospital are near by.
18. Rules for Competition The competition will run in accordance with the FAI rules and the Austrian competition rules with the exceptions published in the annexes. Indoor FS- and VFS Competition Rules 2016 Version (annex 2) Vertical Formation 2way Divepool Austrian Aeroclub (annex 3) Formation 2 way is not covered by the FAI. FAI rules and judging of formation 4way will be used a close as possible Dynamic 2way, the intermediate divepool is valid with adapted rules, see annex 5. Hereby we reference to the valid anti-oping rules (Anti-Doping-Bundesgesetz, NADA Bestimmungen). Anti-doping checks can be made anytime. 19. Judges As Judges there will be FAI and national judges. Chiefjudge: Gisela Heitzinger Eventjudge Formation: Gisela Heitzinger, other judges: Wolfgang Duller and Gundel Klement. Eventjudge Dynamic: Adam Mattacola, other Judges will be announced later in agreement with the local judge coordinator. 20. Protest fee The protest fee is 50.
