Block no. 18 will score double (4 points) if it is performed exactly according to the dive pool (1 front and 1 back layouts vertically). Inter (rotation) can be done onto any other axis, but in this case regular score will apply (2 points). Working time: 35 sec. Any class of 4 way FS will only be organized, in case of min. 5 teams signs up until deadline! Junior Freestyle Individual freestyle wind tunnel competition: 2nd of December, Saturday. Estimated start: 12.00 (depending on the number of registered competitors, time table will be published later) - Beginner/novice juniors only under the age of 14, who has never attended a wind tunnel competition before. Early registration fee (must be paid latest until 17 th of November): 30.000.HUF (100.Euro) / person, which include 5 competition flights with 60 seconds (45 sec working time) and 1 practice flight with 120 seconds, furthermore one T-shirt with the logo of the event and a free dinner on site. Late registration between 18-24 th of November costs 33.000. HUF/person (110 Euro). Later than 24 th of November no registration will be possible! Freestyle junior discipline will only be organized, in case of min. 5 competitors sings up until deadline! Freestyle rules: - First round: Time run. Numbers on the glass must be touched from 1-10 in order as quick as possible, then leave the tunnel. Any flight position can be done (belly, back, sit, etc ). Time starts when both feet leaves the floor of the antechamber, time stops when both feet touches the floor of the antechamber. Best time considered 100% = 10 points, all other times will be compared to the best time, calculated into points of the percentage. - Second and fourth run: compulsory routine. ALL The following compulsory moves must be performed in any order in both 2 nd and 4 th flights: 1 belly to back, back to belly transition (around horizontal axis back or front direction! no barrel roll!) 2 - static tee (belly to earth formation, one leg is vertical, other leg is horizontal, keep flying for min. 2 sec) 3 360 barrel roll, from belly to belly into any direction 4 head down carving (min. 360 degree carving in back or head down position) 5 glass walk + back layout: starting from head up/ stand position back layout must be performed after min. 3 steps on the glass - Third and fifth rounds are free routines, any flight position, style and trick can be performed. In both compulsory and free routines judges give points from 0-10 (not rounded), according to the following criteria: Technical points: - Difficulty: The degree of difficulty of all moves and transitions of the jump. - Movement Skills: Ability to move vertical, horizontal and multiple rotations in a flat, back down, sideways, and/or head-up attitude or any other possible orientation. - Precision, control: Ability of the competitor to demonstrate body control skill or series of skills. Presentation: - Visual Excitement: Routine should hold the viewers attention throughout, dynamic variety, entertaining without being unnecessary. - Originality: Creative choreography in variety. General rules: One competitor can attend all competitions in all categories, but only in different teams. Flying in same category in two different teams is not permitted. The flight order of the competition will be determined 2
randomly. Each team in the event will be given an official 2 minutes training flight before the competition rounds. Mandatory draw will be done for FS practice rounds, no other sequence can be used. In case of not flying the mandatory draw in practice round, the first competition round will result 0 point. Video equipment used for scoring must be installed by wind tunnel or by the event organizer. Video or wind tunnel technical failure will result re-flight of the actual round (not for every team) on no extra cost. It is the team responsibility to present the formations clear and visible for the camera. Problems with a competitor s equipment (suit, helmet, etc.) shall not be grounds for the team to request a re-flight. In case a team not showing up in time in the chamber and misses the given order, actual round score will result 0, no re-flight possibility! The clock will start when both of the first entering team member s feet leaves the antechamber floor or any feet touches the net. There is no penalty for touching the net or the glass during the flight. Leaning in, having a hold inside the tunnel is permitted. Linked and separate entrees are both possible. When team members enter separate, time starts when the first person enters the tunnel. Working time is 25 sec for 2wayFS, 35 sec for 4wayFS - 2wayMFS and 45 sec for freestyle juniors. Flight end flashlight signal will come around 45 seconds. Both grips and docks require stationary contact. Any incorrectly performed or non-judgeable formation, inter will result in zero (0) points. Not visible grips, formations on video will result 0 points. Grips position must be done according to the following picture: Leaving a random or a block from the sequence (intentionally or accidently) will result -3 points (omission). Minimum point for one round could be 0. Mirror images of random formations and whole block sequences are permitted in 4way, not permitted in 2way competitions. Winner will be the team with the highest scores earned after 6 rounds. In case of equal points, the best score in a round will decide. In case of equal best round scores and total scores, a super final round must be flown at the time of prize giving ceremony. Dive pool of the super final should be the practice flight drawn. In case of equal score in the super final, time (in tenth of a second) of the last performed formation will decide. In any further situation FAI rules shall be applied. In all questionable matter chief judge will decide. Protest can be made within one hour after publishing the result, to the chief judge in written format. Protest fee: 20.000.HUF. Separate female ranking will be awarded in case of 5 registered teams in any category, otherwise mixed and female teams will be scored together. Judging, scoring: Competition will be judged by min. 3 national or international judges, according to FAI rules. Registration (reg. sheet on page no.5 addendum 3): Must be sent for all competitions ONLY in email to registration@skyward.hu latest until the midnight of 24 th of November, 2017! Early registration and payment can be done (on lower cost) until 17 th of November! Confirmation will be sent after every registration.
