This tenth anniversary Championships will be held in the seaside city of Anapa, Russia, on October 1-7, 2012. We hope that this week spent on the Black sea with their boxing friends from different countries, will be full of memorable moments for all young participants sharing their passion for our sport. 4. COMPETITION VENUE Name: Children s Health Center Kubanskaya Niva Location: Anapa, Russia 5. ELIGIBILITY OF BOXERS AND WEIGHT CATEGORIES Age classification: Boxers who were born between January 1, 1998 December 31, 1999 (ages 13-14). Weight classification: 38,5kg, 40kg, 41,5kg, 43kg, 44,5kg, 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 56kg, 59kg, 62kg, 65kg, 68kg, 72kg, 76kg, 76+kg. 6. NUMBER OF ROUNDS Three (3) rounds of one and half (1,5) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds. 7. SCORING SYSTEM AND DRAW AIBA Swiss timing scoring system - will be used. 8. REFEREES ES AND JUDGES R&Js are sent by National Federations. For the fair-play and successful competition, it is highly recommended to NFs to bring their AIBA R&J 1, 2 or 3 Stars. 9. REGISTRATION REGULATIONS Boxers: EUBC affiliated National Federations can send only one (1) boxer in each weight category. One (1) reserve boxer per weight category may be entered on the final entry form. It is also permissible for a nation to substitute one (1) boxer for another at any time up to the close of the General Weigh-In and the Medical Examination, provided that the substitute boxer has been entered as a reserve for that weight category or any other weight category.
All other cases of substitution in accordance with AIBA Technical and Competition Rules shall be finalized the day before the General Weigh-In. Number of Team Officials: Each team can have the following number of officials in its delegation: 1-4 boxers: 3 officials + 1 R&J 5-8 boxers: 4 officials + 1 R&J 9-13 boxers: 5 officials + 1 R&J 14-18 boxers: 6 officials + 1 R&J 10. REGISTRATION FORMS The preliminary entry forms (attachment 1) shall be sent to the LOC before August 20, 2012. The final entry form (attachment 2) shall be sent to the LOC before September 03, 2012. 11. REQUIREMENTS A. All Boxers must bring the following items to the General Weigh-In: - Record Book with annual medicals duly completed and updated - Current and valid Passport - Accreditation Card B. Each Team Delegation must bring the following: - National flag 1 x 1.5 m - National Anthem on MP3 or CD C. Boxer s Uniform: Each boxer must bring two sets of uniform. The colors of these two sets of uniform must be in accordance with AIBA Technical and Competition Rules.
12. BOXING EQUIPMENT The LOC will provide AIBA licensed boxing gloves, headguards and hand bandages to all boxers for all bouts. Boxers are authorized to use their personal headguards provided that there isn t any sign of equipment supplier on it. 13. TRANSPORTATION A. Airport/ Train station reception All participants will be welcomed at Airport or Train station of Anapa B. Local Transportation: LOC will provide local transportation between Hotel, Competition Venue and Training Venue(s) during the Championships period. LOC will also provide local transportations for all delegations departures. 14. ACCOMODATION A. Room rates for team delegations are as follows: For single occupancy (1 person per room) 60 EUR per person, per day, including 3 meals For double occupancy (2 persons per room) 45 EUR per person, per day, including 3 meals B. Payment of hotel room charges: All delegations must pay the full room charges at the time of registration in CASH (EUR only) as the Organizing Committee will not be able to accept any other form of payment. On arrival, the team delegations must make the full payment for the entire Championships period October 1-7, 2012.
Delegations will not be able to receive accreditations and hotel room keys if they do not make the payment in full. C. Extra team officials and room rates for extra-nights The room rates for extra team officials and room rates for extra nights (nights out of the championships period) are as follows: For single occupancy (1 person per room) 65 EUR per person, per day, including 3 meals For double occupancy (2 persons per room) 50 EUR per person, per day, including 3 meals 15. INSURANCE All participants are requested to get their own travel and medical insurance. LOC will provide the liability insurance only at the Competition Venue for all participants. 16. MEDICAL CARE The LOC will provide medical care and first-aid during the entire event to all participants who suffer from a sports injury contracted during the event. 17. DOPING CONTROL Doping control shall be conducted in accordance with AIBA Anti-Doping Rules and the World Anti-Doping Code under the supervision of the EUBC Medical ITO.
18. MEDALS A Gold medal will be awarded to the winner in each weight category, a silver medal to the runner-up. Bronze medals will be awarded to both semi-finalists not progressing to the final in each weight category. 19. TRAINING FACILITY LOC will provide training facilities from October 1 (information will be provided to participants upon arrival). The provision of training facilities prior to October 1 may be requested to LOC, but cannot be guaranteed. 20. VISA LOC will provide assistance to all Team Delegations regarding visas. All countries who need visa to Russia, should contact Russian Embassy in their countries beforehand. We ask you kindly to send to Boxing Federation of Russia copies of passports of all members of delegation and the full list of the delegation. Please inform in what city you will apply for Russian visa. The LOC ask you kindly to send your requests for visa support NOT LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 03,, 2012.
