CheerLink CHEER UPDATE We ve had a fantastic start to the competition season with both the AASCF Winterfest and AASCF All Star Battle Competitions a huge success! All MLC teams have competed fantastic routines; we couldn't be happier with how the teams are travelling. Preparation is underway for the upcoming State and National Championships, with the comments made from the judging panel, coaches are working hard to apply changes to the girls routines. As teams develop more strength and begin to execute skills well, coaches will continue to challenge them further by making their stunt sequences more difficult. Congratulations to the Senior Level 3 team for winning a bid to the prestigious AASCF Australasian Pinnacle event, a huge achievement for the team. A further congratulations to the MLC Starbursts for being the only MLC team to hit zero at both competitions this year. REMINDERS OFFICE HOURS: Collection of children Our office is open Cheerleaders should be dropped off and picked up from inside the Physical Education Centre (PEC) building. 9:00am 5:00pm Mon, Wed and Fri 11.00am 7.00pm on Tues and Thurs and 11:00am 1:00pm on Sat, during the school term Please note that cheerleaders are not permitted in the PEC more than 10 minutes before their scheduled class time due to supervision requirements. Please ensure that all siblings are supervised by an adult at all times whilst in the PEC. Please ensure that cheerleaders have their hair tied back and they are not wearing any jewellery, particularly Fitbits and such.

CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to MLC Infinity, the Senior Level 3 team, for winning a bid to the prestigious AASCF Australasian Pinnacle event. This event is when only the chosen few grand champions can compete for the Pinnacle Ring. At this bid only, no entry fee event, teams will be competing against the best of the best in their division from across Australasia. This is the first time an MLC team has won a bid to the event, a huge achievement and a testament to the team s hard work. The Australasian Pinnacle event is on Monday November 27th.
