CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. The Organisers shall not be responsible for any loss, accident or injury to Person, Animal or property. 2. The Judges decision is final. All objections must lodged in writing to the Secretary, within half an hour of a class. A deposit of 25 must accompany the objection and will be forfeit if the objection is not upheld. 3. All equines in medal classes must be registered with the W.P.C.S.- except foals unless they are 6 months old. 4. The Committee reserve the right to amalgamate classes if less than three entries are received. 5. Brood Mares, Stallions and ridden Equines must be four years or over. 6. All foals must be over three weeks old. 7. Exhibitors are not allowed to show any equine under a Judge who has owned, bred, or had any financial interest in, or produced for gain, the said animal. 8. No equine can be awarded more than one medal in any year (Silver/Gold/Ridden medals excepted) If the Champion and reserve have already won medals, the medal will be withheld. 9. All trophies and cups remain the property of the Association and must be returned in good condition and in good time for the next years show. 10. Whips and Canes No shaft of any whip or cane shall exceed 75cms (30 inches). 11.It is the exhibitor s responsibility to present their exhibit at the ring on time for their class, not the responsibility of the announcer. 12. A brood mare is a mare that has produced a foal, live or dead (vets certificate required) in the current year, all other mares are classed as barren. 13. Ridden Welsh Classes are run under WP&CS Rules Novices: A Pony/Cob/Welsh Part-Bred shall be deemed to be a Novice if, by 1st January of the current year, it has not won an Open class within the discipline in which it is currently competing. All Novice ridden animals must be shown in a suitable snaffle bridle. 14. All Ridden Equines must be 4 years old or over. 15. Animals, 3 years old and under including foals must not be body clipped for showing purposes. Long hair under the jawline and those protruding from the ears may be trimmed off leaving as natural a line as possible. The whiskers around the muzzle may be trimmed. 16. All colts/stallion 2yr and over must be bitted and lead by a handler that is 14 or over on the 1 st of January in the current year 17. All handlers under the age of 14 must wear a British Standard Hard Hat, gloves and suitable footwear. 18. Riders of stallions 13.2hh and under must be 12 years old as of 1 st January and riders of stallions over 13.2hh must be 14 years of age as of the 1 st of January. 19. Entry fee s will not be refunded without a Veterinary Certificate 20. If the show is cancelled all entry fee s will be returned unless the show is rescheduled then no fee s will be returned. 21. The committee reserve the right to ask a competitor to leave the ring if he/she is seen to be showing cruelty or abuse to their animal. 22. No bags or other forms of noise aids are not to be used around the rings, please have respect for other competitor
