Various Facilities and Services Website Various information related to the WWC 2015 is available at www.2015wwc.worldbowling.org/ Flags and National anthems Each federation has to bring at least 2-3 national flags (size 1 x 1,5 meters) and a CD with your national anthem. If you expect to have three players/teams at the same time on medal positions bring three flags. Photos of players Our local host has now asked for photos so they can prepare the ID badges. We ask all federations to IMMEDIATELY send photos (passport format) of all registered players, officials and supporters. Send them to 2015WWC@worldbowling.org soonest possible. Do not forget to name each photo. Seminars We have added 6 seminars to the schedule. They were announced in Newsletter last week. We apologize we could not announce them all before but it was not possible for us. You are all invited and we hope that you can make necessary changes in your itineraries. Registration forms are attached. All seminars are free. Result Services The latest technology will be in use both for the press officials and for accumulation and presentation of scores and standings. Scores will be shown in the venue on two large digital screens. All results will be available on WWC website www.2015wwc.worldbowling.org/ Online scoring will be available. The link will be announced later. Live streaming will also be available. The link will be announced later. Press Area One meeting room will be used for the press. Space will be provided for approximately 30 press officials. All press officials will be connected through a wireless network to access the internet at no cost. Press officials are expected bring their own laptops. There will be a printer available. Press Conferences Sufficient space for press conferences will be provided after the conclusion of each discipline or when necessary. Bus Services All delegations of the championships staying in the Centro Capital Centre will be met in Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH). Similar service will be provided for departures. No transportation service from Dubai airport.
Unofficial practice To make reservations for the unofficial practice contact the bowling center directly by email bowling@zsc.ae. Unofficial practice is available December 3 5 & 10.00 23.00. Lane rate 110 AED per lane per hour Equipment Storage Ball park in the bowling centre will be used to store the equipment. A secure system for storage will be in place. There will be an easy and short distance from ball park to the lanes. Farewell Banquet The banquet will be held on December 13 in the evening at a location on walking distance from Centro Capital Centre. WWC logos We have got new logos for this event from Emirates Bowling federation. You can download them on www.2015wwc.worldbowling.org/media/ 3. Various Fees WWC 2015 Entry Fee The WWC 2015 entry fee is USD 275. This fee is payable for all delegations, including players, coaches, managers, head of delegations and other officials connected to each team. WMC 2015 Supporters Fee The WWC 2015 Supporter fee is USD 125. Included in the Supporter fee is - transportation to/from Abu Dhabi International airport to the official hotel - transportation to/from official hotel bowling center - banquet - entrance bowling center (there is no entrance fee for the bowling center) Prepayment of Fees All fees must be prepaid and payment is to be received by WTBA. We will contact a few federation which has not yet paid the fees. It is preferred that payments are done by card. Payment instructions will be available on the World Bowling website, www.worldbowling.org or directly to www.wtba.meriq.com/dynamic/payment/ If you want to transfer to the WTBA bank account contact the WWC office on 2015WWC@worldbowling.org. All bank costs must be paid by you.
