Digital Control Proportional Valves Series D92 High-performance pressure control valve with high dynamics and the ability to easily and exactly tune the pressure controller gain The pq-proportional valves of the D92 series are throttle valves for 2x2-, 3- or -way applications. This two stage pq-proportional valve with D633-7 pilot valve has an integrated digital electronics and an optional fieldbus interface. The pq-proportional valves control flow and regulate pressure (upper or lower limiting pressure). Thus, they can be used for both pressure regulation as well as applying a pressure-limit. The control electronics for the spool position and the pressure are integrated in the valve as is a pressure sensor. The valves have been continuously improved. The Direct Drive Valve D633-7, when used as the pilot valve, is characterized by its high dynamics and very low leakage. The very high pressure efficiency makes it the first choice for applications involving low pilot pressures. Fail-safe versions for user defined spool positions at loss of power are available. Mechanically and electrically controlled fail-safe versions provide defined safe spool position by a spring and/or a solenoid valve.
