The Bolam Cup and CSSL Trophy finals history has shown some closely fought and entertaining games. I hope that these two finals played at Ilam Oval continue to uphold this high standard of football. Congratulations to the two Bolam Cup finalists. Appearing in their first final are the winners of the 1 st division this season, Canterbury Fiji, up against Cardrona on Avon, the winners of the 2 nd division this season who are rapidly advancing up the divisions, Both teams have strong sides capable of winning; this will clearly be a very exciting match. I would also like to congratulate the two CSSL Trophy finalists, Prebbleton B and Dux de Lux B. These two clubs have met before on several occasions and we look forward to a well-fought match. I hope these two teams and their supporters enjoy a memorable day. On behalf of all committee members, I would like to thank all CSSL teams for their service and hard work for the association. The environment this season has been a challenge but because of the great efforts from all involved we had a successful season. The Annual League Six a side held on the 18 th at Ilam Fields was once again a success as was the Awards dinner held at the Prebbleton Tavern on the same night. Congratulations to the League division winners and recipients of awards. The League has a solid foundation of 37 years independent operation. Looking forward, the future holds exciting opportunities ensuring that all members will be able to play in and be a part of a great competition. I wish you all the best.
