OUR PHILOSOPY We know that the benefits kids get from playing the beautiful game goes way beyond the pitch. Our philosophy for First Strike is simple. It starts and ends with growing good people for the future, with the added outcome of being the best football player they can be. We are all about: Team Work Makes the Dream Work True football fans know that no one player makes a team. Yes, the Messi s, Beckham s and Ronaldo s of the world are awesome sportsman, but without their team backing them, assisting goals and defending in the backs, World Cup wins would simply not happen. We want our players to play with heart and head and to put the team before their own victory. This is the only way to achieve success in football. Work Hard Play Hard Of course we want our players to work hard on the pitch, to listen to instruction and to grow as athletes. But, we know that this is just one part of developing a life long love of football. For kids to learn and grow, they need to engage with what they are doing, and the best way to do this is by having fun! In fact, having FUN is the most important part! "At First Strike Football, each program has been carefully designed to challenge players, inspire personal and athletic growth, foster mateship, compassion and to encourage kids to be kids!"
