We ve put together this packet to provide as much information as possible about the entire experience. Please do not hesitate to call with any questions regarding your Bahamian adventure and be sure to check out our web site for more information. 2008/2009 SCHEDULE New for this season we will have one boat available in Marsh Harbor starting in November 2008. Then once again we will be fishing the familiar waters of San Salvador, Rum Cay, Cat Island, Crooked Island and Diana Bank for the months of April - June. We will customize your trip to suit all your needs. As always, we keep our schedule somewhat flexible in order to allow us to match our boat location with our customer s needs and also to maximize our catch as fishing heats up in one location or cools in another. THE BOATS This year we will be using two world class sport fishing vessels, the OVER UNDER and LOW PROFILE. These boats are very clean, and professionally maintained. Amenities such as marine air-conditioning systems, bathroom facilities, living quarters, and galleys are all modern, fully equipped and in excellent condition. These boats are well suited for family cruises, corporate outings, major fishing tournaments, or just a fun day on the water with friends and family. Full details and photographs are available on our web-site www.overundercharters.com and references are available upon request. LOW PROFILE is the 2000, 55 Custom Carolina Boat that we have used in the Bahamas the last two seasons. LOW PROFILE has two staterooms and a very large head and shower. OVER UNDER is our flagship, 54 Bertram, which has undergone a major renovation and returning to action starting in November. OVER UNDER has three staterooms and three heads (two private), making it a great choice for your live-aboard vacation. Both vessels are fully equipped and set-up for extended cruising, living aboard, snorkeling and free diving, and of course, catching lots of fish! 1
THE CHARTERS Our fishing and cruising vacations will run from Saturday to Saturday this season, coinciding with the best flight schedules to the Islands. To keep pricing very simple, we are flat rating our Bahamas Charters at $7000 a week, plus expenses. This base rate includes the boat, crew, bait, tackle and use of the boat every day of your vacation. Dockage is included at our base port, however, should you wish to travel to other islands, dockage charges will apply. Not included are fuel, accommodations, food, drinks & gratuity. Over Under Adventures can arrange for all of these items at your request. Split weeks are also available at a cost of $4000, plus expenses. Half weeks, which will run Saturday to Wednesday, or Tuesday to Saturday, are for four nights and three days on the boat. It is customary to tip your crew 15-20% of the total cost (including expenses) of your charter at the end of your trip. We are also offering you the chance to stay on Over Under and Low Profile crewless for $3500/week. Should you decide that you would like the boat to leave the dock to go fishing, snorkeling or just explore the waters of the Bahamas a daily crew charge of $1000 plus fuel costs will be added. There will also be a cleaning charge of $150 upon departure. Marsh Harbour in the Abacos Beginning in November 2008 we are offering an introductory rate of $5000 per week, plus expenses for our full week Marsh Harbour Crewed Charters. This rate applies from November 1 to December 15 th and Januar y 15 th to March 15 th. This basic rate is for daily use of the boat for fishing, diving, exploring, etc. The boat will return to the Conch Inn Marina nightly and customers will stay at any of the nearby hotels or house rentals. The OVER UNDER will be docked at the Conch Inn & Marina, which is centrally located, providing a convenient gateway to all of the activities located in nearby Man- O-War Cay, Hopetown, Guana Cay, Elbow Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Treasure Cay and Little Harbour. There is also daily ferry service to most of these nearby Islands, for those who decide not to venture out on the boat for the day. 2
San Salvador, Rum Cay, Cat Island, Diana Bank April 1, 2009 to June 15, 2009 As we have for the last six years Over Under Adventures will once again be fishing the awesome waters of the South East Bahamas when the prime-time bite rolls into action. We have slimmed our season down to concentrate on the 10 weeks that have consistently produced the best fishing for us over the last six years. We are offering live-aboard trips, resort based trips, or a combination of the two. Everything can be customized to the customer s preferred trip itinerary. Again, flat rate pricing keeps it simple and allows us to do what the customer wants at the most affordable price. The full week rate for 2009 is $7000, plus expenses. This rate includes daily use of the boat for fishing, diving, and exploring. The boat will return to the dock each afternoon and accommodations will be ashore. See below for add-ons and more detail on the major expenses to consider. We only have 10 slots available for 2009! Please contact us early on, if you would like to fish this yea r. FISHING & DIVING Offshore Trolling: Best bet for BIG WAHOO with OUA, is April in the Southern Bahamas. Winter in Marsh Harbour will also provide excellent opportunities to target Wahoo. Spring is the best all around fishing time for Wahoo, Tuna, Dolphin, and Billfish. Late May and early June is typically the best time to target Blue Marlin. The Summer offers an opportunity to really focus in on the Blue Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna, and as the waters begin to cool back off in the Fall, all species should be available, including Wahoo in November. Bottom Fishing: Bottom fishing can be good year round. We have had some exceptional trips targeting Mutton Snapper and BIG Yellowtails on the Full Moons in May and June. The best Mutton Snapper fishing is at night, but we can target these fish during the day also. Grouper can be found year-round, and off the edge Yellow-Eye Snapper, Queen Snapper, and Black Snapper can typically be found in good numbers. Snorkeling & Free-Diving: The Bahamas offer some of the best snorkeling and diving found anywhere. Beautiful reefs can be found in as shallow as five feet, or as deep as the edge of the wall in 70 feet. Spear Fishing is something that we are equipped and set-up to do. Spear fishing in the Bahamas is all free-diving, so no tanks allowed. The main target species is grouper and lobster (in season). If scuba diving is on your agenda, just let us know. It is awesome here and we can arrange for a guided wall dive with a local dive operator. 3

Customary Gratuity: Standard Day Fishing: $300 per day Live-Aboard, Cruising, Excursion: $450 per day OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT BAHAMAS CHARTERS Number of people allowed on charters We can legally accommodate up to six people on our boats at any one time. This does NOT mean that your group is limited to six people, so long as only six people fish on any given day. For live-aboard cruising trips, we request you to keep the group size to four or less. Special arrangements can certainly be made for larger parties and we do have access to additional boats if more than one sport fishing vessel is required. We are able to offer more competitive pricing for larger groups, as the cost of many of our expenses are fixed and can thus be split amongst more people. Bahamas Customs In the Bahamas, all guests must clear Bahamas Customs. A valid PASSPORT is required for all person traveling to and from the Bahamas. US currency is readily accepted in the Bahamas. Flights to the Islands As the cost of air charters have greatly increased, we are using scheduled service via major airlines for most of our vacations.
