Rules and Regulations 2018-2019 1. The period of annual membership shall be 1 May to 30 April. Dues shall be paid on or before the annual meeting. Member s not rejoining the club will receive written notice and have thirty (30) days, from the date of the notice to remove all personal effects and return all keys. All personal effects not removed within thirty days of the notice shall become Club Property. 2. Hunting fees/deposits are non-refundable regardless of circumstance, once accepted for the hunting season. 3. Members cannot hunt until their membership dues are paid in full. A $100.00 late fee will be charged per month or any portion of a month for any past due membership dues. 4. All members are responsible for family and guests being aware of and abiding by the club rules. A primary club membership includes immediate family members. Immediate family members are defined as: a. Family members (wife, kids) residing in the same household and being supported by a club member can hunt under the primary club membership. b. Family members under the age of 22 on the first day of deer season, enrolled in college as a full time student, can hunt under the primary club membership. c. Grandchildren of a club member may hunt under the provisions of rules 4a and 4b. d. A person without a weapon, in the same stand, observing the hunt of a club member is not be considered a hunting guest.

5. Only members and guests accompanied by members will be permitted to use the clubhouse. 6. Membership may be terminated as follows: a. Non-payment of dues, fines, or penalties b. A violation of any of the rules as determined by the club Board of Directors and rules committee (see rule 8) c. Willfully destroying club property d. Misconduct as determined by the Board of Directors 7. All State of Alabama game laws and regulations will be adhered to. 8. All bait and feed must be removed 10 days prior to Bow Season. No baiting or feeding will be allowed during Hunting Season. Any Member/Members caught baiting during Hunting Season (Deer and Turkey) will be immediately dismissed from the club and forfeit of all dues paid. 9. All hunting with dogs is prohibited, per lease with Bloedel Forest. 10. Guns will be unloaded at all times except when actually hunting. 11. Each member is responsible for reporting any rules violations to the president and or the rules committee. 12. Each individual member is personally responsible for any personal or pecuniary liability in which he, his relatives, or a guest incur or cause while on or using club property. 13. Trespassing on non-club property is strictly forbidden and may result in termination of membership 14. Any member not participating in at least 3 designated work days will be assessed $100.00 per day missed. These fines are due no later than the first day of deer season. 15. No man-drive hunts of areas are permitted. Man-drive is defined as two or more persons walking through an area with one or more persons acting as standers. 16. No driving of vehicles in hunting areas or roads past the fireplace or marked signs. Per lease with Bloedel Forest.

17. All members are required to sign-out/sign-in at the Fire Place any time they are on club property and must designate only one area they intend to hunt ( one additional area total for family or guest ). The area reserved by the member will belong to them for that day, or until they sign out. If not actively hunting the member must attach an out to lunch tag designating they are not actively hunting. If a member brings a guest, they must sign for the guest. Guest or youth under the age of twelve must hunt in the same area as the member. Youth twelve years of age and older are permitted to hunt alone in an area pending prior approval from the Rules Committee. List the name of the guest on the sign-out/sign-in sheet rather than guest or visitor. Other than during deer season, turkey and other small game hunters may designate more than one area. 18. No one can sign out for a particular hunting area prior to 5:00 A.M., the day of hunting. 19. Working on stands and scouting is only permitted between the hours of 11:00am and 1:00pm during deer/turkey season. The shooting range will be open from 10am until 2pm. No scouting, checking cameras, or moving stands is allowed in an area a member is tagged out to lunch. 20. All gates shall be locked by the last person leaving club property. 21. All members are encouraged to build deer stands. Shooting Houses on Greenfields and the Power Line are considered permanent structures. Should a member resign from their membership, their Shooting House will not be removed or sold but become the property of Tri County Hunting Club Inc. 22. Each member is allowed only 6 guest hunts during deer season and 6 guest hunts during turkey season per membership year. A guest is defined as anyone other than a family member as defined in rule 4a. A hunt is defined as either hunting in the am or hunting in the pm. Both am and pm are considered two hunts. a. No guests are permitted on opening day up and through the following week end for Bow and Gun season nor after Jan 15th. b. A guest fee of $20 per hunt will be charged payable in advance of the hunt. The guest fee and guest days include duck, deer and turkey hunting. a. There are no guest fees for rabbit or squirrel. c. List the name of the guest on the sign-out/sign-in sheet rather than guest or visitor. 23. All lights and water shall be turned off and all doors shall be locked when leaving the clubhouse. Garbage or trash must be disposed of by removing it from club property. Once

work days begin, leave the main breaker on, turn off the hot water heater breaker, turn off the water main, turn off all lights and remove garbage/trash from the property. Do not throw personal trash in the fire barrel and leave! 24. Membership is set at 24 members, 22 paying and 2 free for tractor work. 25. Current members desiring to remain in the club the following season are required to pay a $200 non-refundable deposit no later than Jan 31st of the current season. Failure to pay the deposit may result in the loss of your slot for the following season. New members desiring to join the club for the upcoming season will also be required to pay the $200 non-refundable deposit. DEER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM The following applies to all members and guests. Tri County Hunting Club is a 6 point or better Club. Point Definition: Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources defines a point is an antler projection of at least 1 inch in length from base to tip. Fines: Fines apply to both Gun and Bow hunting, members and guest. Members are responsible for their guest. If a guest kills a club illegal deer, the fine counts against the club member. Buck of Choice: Youth ( under the age of 16 ), as defined by Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, who have never harvested a buck, will be allowed to harvest 1 Buck of Choice (their first buck). Any buck after the first buck will be six point or better according to club rules. Club fine rules will be in effect. Fines for Antlered deer (bucks) less than 6 points 1 st - $200.00 2 nd - $400.00 3 rd - $800.00 4 th - $1600.00 and termination from club Club Doe Rules: Fines for un-antlered deer (does) less than 70 pounds $4.00/pound $8.00/pound $16.00/pound $32.00/pound and etc. 1. No Does may be harvested on the Power Line after Youth Weekend.

2. Does may be harvested on the remainder of the club property through Jan. 15th. Each club membership (paying member) is limited to 3 Does per hunting season. Example: A paying member with a dependent under the age of 22 or multiple family members hunting is limited to 3 Does per hunting season under the one primary membership. Fines for the above rules: 1 st - $400 2 nd - $600 3 rd - $800 4 th - $1600 and termination from the club Fines: A member cannot hunt until all fines are paid in full. Fines are due within 1 day (24 hours) of receiving a fine. The following data should be recorded on sheets at the fireplace: Date killed Sex Weight Points Gun or bow Hunter Game Check number CAMPERS The club has provided a meter with electrical connections for those members wishing to bring their campers on clubhouse property during hunting season. Water is also available however there is no sewage connection, bathrooms and showers are available in the club house. Members wishing to bring their campers will be responsible for paying the club the monthly amount as billed by Alabama Power for the additional camper s meter. There is limited camper space. It is available on a first come basis to members paid in full. Fees: Campers will be charged a $140 deposit for utilities due September 1st of each year. Deposits will be used to pay Camper Electric bill beginning Oct 1st and ending on March 1st. Any camper on the clubhouse property will be required to pay deposit.

TURKEY ONLY MEMBERSHIP On July 22, 2011, Tricounty Hunting Club members approved a single Turkey only membership. The Turkey only membership dues shall be paid on or before the annual meeting. The following stipulations apply to the Turkey only Membership: There is only one (1) Turkey only Membership. Deer, Duck, Squirrel, Rabbit and Dove hunting will not be allowed for the Turkey only membership. The Turkey only Membership will not be required to complete club workdays The Turkey only Membership will abide by all Club Rules and Regulations.
