If you are new to PAHA entering the mite level, your child s jersey number will be either even or odd depending on their birth year. For example, if your child was born in 2010, he/she would need to pick an even jersey number, but cannot be a number that is already taken by another current skater. If there are two skaters wanting the same number, then the skater who has skated the longest in the organization gets to keep the jersey number. Also if a skater decides he/she wants to change numbers from a previous season he/she will be allowed to choose a number that isn t already taken.
