MANUAL WINDING Clockwise SWISS MADE 10
MANUAL WINDING Unscrew crown to Position 2. When Power Reserve is depleted or the watch has stopped, wind the crown clockwise 5-10 times maximum. Stop winding when you feel some resistance, as over-winding may cause tension damage inside the movement. If the watch is running, manual winding is not necessary. Once you have wound your watch, return the crown to Position 1 by pushing and screwing the crown back against the case. Please ensure the crown is set back to the watch s operating position for full water resistance. 11

N.B The date should not be set when the hour hand is between the hour markers of 10 o clock (pm) and 1 o clock (am) Please ensure the crown is set back to the watch s operating position for full water resistance. 15

WATER RESISTANCE The Saxon Automatic watch is water resistant to 10ATM. Larsson and Jennings recommends following these guidelines for acceptable usage for the ATM ratings of this watch: 10ATM: Activities such as showering, bathing, swimming in a pool and snorkelling are acceptable. The watch should not be worn whilst diving. Please rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to a chlorinated pool, salt water, soap, etc. 22
WATER RESISTANCE Note: The ATM rating only refers to watch heads, and not the strap. Leather straps should avoid contact with water or very high humidity atmospheres. For more information on what our water resistance ratings mean, please visit www.larssonandjennings.com/faqs 23
CARE The Saxon Automatic watch should not be exposed to heavy wear, abrasions or knocks. The watch contains a number of mechanical parts which can be damaged by excessive shocks to the watch. Hard metals, stones or aggregates will scratch the case. Whilst the sapphire crystal glass is extremely resilient, hard metals, stones or aggregates will scratch the case. In order to keep the watch in it s best condition, and to ensure its longest lifetime, it should be cleaned regularly and serviced at least every 5 years. Before cleaning your Automatic make sure the crown is fully closed and screwed down in Position 1. Use a soft 24
CARE brush and warm fresh water, and gently brush around the exterior casing. Finish by wiping dry with a soft cloth. If the watch comes into contact with salt water or abrasive chemicals, ensure you clean the watch thoroughly with fresh water as above. Use the Larsson & Jennings cleaning cloth provided to polish and clean surfaces of the watch. For metal straps we suggest using warm soapy water to clean the strap. If you require a deeper clean, ultrasonic jewellery cleaners are available at good jewellery stores. Leather straps are not water resistant, and will need to be changed every 1-3 years. 25
