Then the entire tie-breaking protocol will be used with the remaining two teams to again eliminate the team losing via tiebreakers. If there are more than 3 teams tied, the entire protocol will be used again to eliminate teams until there are 2 teams remaining. o Of those two teams one will be eliminated via the tie-breakers In each instance, the entire tie-breaking protocol will be used, beginning with point 1. Line Changes Line changes if a team would find itself in a line change situation where not all four players are coming off the ice to be replaced by another 4-player unit, the player(s) left on the ice must come back to the bench to tag up before continuing play Jersey Colors the team listed first on the schedule will be home team. We will use NHL rules and the home team will wear dark jerseys o If a team only has one set of jerseys, the other team will wear the opposite of what the one-set team has (light or dark) o If both teams have only one set of jerseys, we will make-do for that game o If both teams have the exact same color, we will really have to make the best of it, just like teams do for scrimmages at the end of practice! Game Supervision Each team will be required to have two coaches on the bench at all times o We do not permit more than three coaches on the bench

o Teams with more than three coaches should plan a rotation so that each coach may be on the bench for at least one game Penguins Rinks will provide game officials and scorekeepers/clock operator for all games Behavior We expect coaches to conduct themselves with sportsmanship and dignity in this tournament o Coaches may need to speak loudly to be heard during a game they do NOT need to yell at kids EVER Not their players; not the other team s players Coaches should treat other coaches and the young people officiating the games with professionalism, fraternal respect and personal civility o Think of the example you are setting for the children on your bench Team Managers are responsible for monitoring the behavior, emotions and language of their team parents and remind them of the example they are setting Hockey is an emotional game but we will exercise ZERO TOLERANCE for unsportsmanlike and un-civil behavior from coaches, players and fans People behaving in a disruptive, vulgar or aggressive manner will be told to leave the building Rostering for More than One Team Players rostered in the Red Division may only play in the Red Division o Red Division players are not permitted to play down in the Pink, White or Blue Divisions o A player in the Red Division may play on two teams in the Red Division Player must declare his/her primary team at the start of the tournament in the event the two teams play each other No replacement may be made for the player on the team that is not his/her declared primary team o Goaltenders see further below

If there is an injury on the ice the person officiating that rink will alert the timekeeper Timekeeper will hit the buzzer two times to indicate an injury The UPMC Trainer will be radioed to the appropriate rink Players on all rinks will take a knee until the situation is resolved Playoff games tied at the end of regulation If a Playoff game is tied at the end of regulation there will be a shootout o Shootout will consist of 3 players for each team o Visiting team shoots first o If the score remains tied after the first 3 shooters for each team, additional players will shoot until a winner is determined. o Additional rounds are not sudden death Example: both shooter # 4 s do not score; Visiting shooter # 5 shoots and scores; Home team shooter # 5 will have an opportunity to shoot and tie the score o No player may repeat until all players have shot once.
