Page 8 COMMUNITY CLUBS BEDWELL RANGERS UNDER 12 MEERKATS - HGFPL FAIRPLAY AWARD WINNERS Last season was a very challenging one for Bedwell Rangers Under 12 Meerkats as the squad was rebuilt following the departure of several players. Despite results often not going their way, they gave 100% and always tried to play with a smile on their face. Recently they were rewarded for their efforts when they picked up the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League Overall Fair play Award for the Competitive Sections (Under 12s to Under 18s) at the HGFPL AGM. There were 79 teams in the U12 to U18 divisions. For the Meerkats to come out top of the pile, after so many challenges, is a magnificent achievement. Bedwell Rangers would be keen to hear from any girls currently in school years 6, 7, and 8 interested in joining them.
