SCOUTING HOUSTON BAPTIST: The Huskies enter Friday s match with a 4-7-2 overall record. Houston Baptist is 2-3-2 within the conference, just one point out of the pivotal sixth position needed to qualify for the postseason tournament. The Huskies have a win and a tie over conference leader Air Force and are coming off a 4-1 victory over UNLV. Christian Cruz leads the Huskies with five goals, while Kristopher Tyrpak has contributed four goals and four assists. Kevin Suarez has started the last two matches as the Huskies goalie, posting a 2.15 GAA and a.629 save percentage this season. SCOUTING NEW MEXICO: The Lobos come into the weekend with a 12-3-0 overall record. New Mexico is in second place in the MPSF Mountain Division with a 5-2 conference record, and one more win will clinch a spot in the postseason tournament for the Lobos.
