OUR RUNNING CHAMPIONS Having support on the day makes such a huge difference and we simply cannot do it without you and your family and friends. Thank you so much in advance! MAKE SOME NOISE! We ll be supporting Sparks and GOSH runners all the way to the finish line, so please join us at our cheer stations on route. We ll ensure you have everything you need to make as much noise as possible bang sticks, clapper boards, plus T-shirts! We ve got four cheer stations for you to choose from so wherever and however you want to show your support, we look forward to seeing you there on the day.
OUR CHEER STATIONS GOSH & SPARKS CHEER STATIONS 4 3 1 2 Please see above map for our four cheer stations on route. On the day we'll have our banners out and our T-shirts on so we ll be easy to spot! CHEER STATION 1 Mile 9 - Canada Water 09:30 to 12:00 Our first cheer station along the route will be just around mile 9, on the corner of Surrey Quay Road and Canada Road. This will be on the left-hand side of the runners. At this point the runners will be well into their stride, so your support will give them a boost as they approach double figures. CHEER STATION 2 Mile 17.5 Crossharbour 10:00 to 14:00 Our second cheer station will be just around mile 17.5. We ll be based opposite Crossharbour DLR station to cheer the runners as they go up East Ferry Road. We will be on both sides of the road. At this point the runners will be hitting the wall so will really need your support to give them a much needed boost. CHEER STATION 3 Mile 21 Limehouse Holiday Inn 10:00 to 15:00 Our third cheer station will be just after mile 21. We will be based just past the Limehouse Holiday Inn. We will be on the right-hand side of the runners. Having joint GOSH and Sparks cheer stations along the route will give all runners the important big boost they need at this challenging part of the race. CHEER STATION 4 Mile 24 Embankment 10:40 to 15:30 Our fourth cheer station will be at mile 24 by Blackfriars Bridge, just two miles from the finish line. At this point, you can go on either side of the road by crossing over the road bridge. Your support here will give runners a final push as they approach the finish of this iconic race. POST RACE RECEPTION Our joint Sparks and GOSH post-race reception is extremely close to the finish line, and we ll have a team of volunteers in either GOSH or Sparks T-shirts guiding our runners from the finish line to the venue. We will be providing food, drink (pizza and beer!) and massages at the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) to welcome back and congratulate our runners. Due to the large number of runners and limited space, we kindly ask that you only invite 2 of your friends/family to join you at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA). Address: Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) 12 Carlton House Terrace SW1Y 5AH Take the Duke of York steps on the left of the finish line and up the few steps up to Carlton House Terrace. You will find us on the right-hand side.
